Reddick (oblique) was activated from the 15-day disabled list Sunday.
Reddick has been rehabbing an oblique strain since early March, but should soon be ready to take back a regular role in the Athletics' outfield. Tyler Ladendorf was optioned to Triple-A Nashville to clear up a spot on the 25-man roster.

Reddick (oblique) will be activated from the DL on Sunday, Jane Lee of MLB.com reports.
The A's will leave Reddick down at High-A Stockton for one more rehab game before activating him for Sunday's series finale against the Mariners. Reddick suffered an oblique strain in early March and missed most of spring training as a result, but he hasn't experienced any setbacks since starting back up with baseball activity and should step into a prominent role in right field right away for Oakland.

Reddick (oblique) went 1-for-3 with an RBI, a walk and a strikeout in a rehab game with High-A Stockton on Thursday.
Reddick remains on track to be activated from the DL when first eligible Saturday. With the addition of Cody Ross this week, the A's outfield appears very crowded, but Reddick figures to push Ben Zobrist back to second base. Tyler Landendorf seems like a possible candidate to lose his roster spot.

Reddick (oblique) will play five innings in a minor league camp game Sunday, Jane Lee of MLB.com reports.
Reddick is slated to miss the start of the regular season, though manager Bob Melvin clarified over the weekend that Reddick could be back as soon as the team's season-opening homestand, which runs from April 6-12. Barring a setback, it looks as though Reddick's missed time will be minimal.

A's manager Bob Melvin said Friday that Reddick (oblique) probably won't be ready for Opening Day but could make his debut before the end of the team's season-opening homestand, MLB.com's Jane Lee reports.
The homestand lasts seven games from Apr. 6 to Apr. 12. Reddick expects to play in games this upcoming weekend, but it sounds as if he won't quite have enough time to prepare for Opening Day. The A's thus expect to start the season with Ben Zobrist in right field and Eric Sogard at second base, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Reddick (oblique) expects to play in a game this weekend, CSN Bay Area's Joe Stiglich reports.
Reddick upped his activity level throughout the week, and he seemingly still has a shot to be ready for Opening Day. A weekend return would leave him enough time to play as many as six or seven more Cactus League games.

Reddick (oblique) will take two rounds of batting practice Thursday, Joe Stiglich of CSN California reports.
After making it through Wednesday's soft toss without incident, Reddick is ready for the next step in his progression. While he won't quite take a full batting practice session, he hopes to play in a game by the end of this weekend, which would give him a shot to be ready for Opening Day. Even if he isn't quite ready, he will likely only miss a few games.
