Panik went 3-for-3 with one RBI and scored twice in Wednesday's 10-1 shellacking of the Brewers.
EDGE Analysis
The left-hand-hitting second baseman continued his hot play while tying his season-high hit streak at six games. Panik had a rough May (.213/.293/.315), but has been on a tear through the first half of June. He has tallied two-plus hits in half of his starts this month, while upping his average by 25 points. The 25-year-old was a nice buy-low candidate two weeks ago, but his stock is rapidly increasing to align with .300-plus hitter he's been throughout his short MLB career.

Panik went 2-for-5 with an RBI and a pair of runs scored in Saturday's extra-inning win over the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
Panik hasn't been the .300 hitter we've seen over the past couple of seasons, but he continues to provide value with his counting stats and light power at the second base position. Like his teammates Matt Duffy and Buster Posey, Panik's .259 BABIP is significantly lower than his career marks. When those hits begin to fall, we will see his batting average rise along with more runs and RBI as he continues to hit second for the Giants.

Panik is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Manager Bruce Bochy is trying to get as many righties as possible in the lineup Wednesday against southpaw David Price, so Kelby Tomlinson will get the start at second base and hit second. Panik has started the last eight games and remains the go-to option for the Giants at the keystone.

Panik went 1-for-5 with a home run and a pair of RBI in Thursday's win over the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
Panik is well on pace to surpass the eight homers and 37 RBI he posted in 100 games last season. While the increased power is welcomed, his .300-plus career batting average hasn't carried over. He is striking out a bit more than usual, but a .255 BABIP (.330 BABIP last season) is the likely culprit. Those who own Panik should hang tight as his average is likely to rise over the course of the season and will look nice coupled with double-digit homers and decent counting stats.

Panik is out of the lineup Sunday against the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
With lefty Chris Rusin on the hill for the opposing team, Panik will get the day off in favor of Kelby Tomlinson at second base. It's been a bit of a tough week for Panik, who recently broke an 0-for-10 slump by recording hits in back-to-back contests.

Panik is out of the lineup for Monday's game against San Diego.
EDGE Analysis
Panik is getting the night off to avoid a lefty on lefty matchup with Drew Pomeranz on the mound for San Diego. Interestingly, the second basemen is hitting .309 this year against lefties but the Giants are choosing to play the odds and avoid the commonly-difficult batting matchup. Kelby Tomlinson will replace Panik at second base and bat second in the order for Monday's game.

Panik went 4-for-5 with a steal, but had no RBI or runs in Thursday's win over San Diego.
EDGE Analysis
Panik was on the basepaths all day, but this was a tight game, which kept him from racking up counting stats for the fine performance. Nonethless, the third-year man broke up a three-game hitless skid and has now tied last season's steal total (three). Expand his current numbers out over 162 games and you get a 21-homer, 13-steal, 78-RBI, 91-run second baseman. Most fantasy owners will take that happily, and that's before we even factor in the inevitable rise in batting average to come.

Panik went 2-for-3 with a three-run homer in the sixth to lift the Giants over the Diamondbacks on Friday 3-1.
EDGE Analysis
The second baseman had the green light in a 3-0 count and took advantage by smashing his second home run in as many days. He is 3-for-7 (.429) with two homers and five RBI in the series against Arizona. Panik only has five bombs, but this is the second time this season he has gone deep in back-to-back games.

Panik smashed a two-run homer against Zack Greinke for his only hit in four at-bats Thursday in a win over Arizona.
EDGE Analysis
While it's nice to see his power continue to grow -- Panik seems like a likely candidate to hit about 15 homers this year -- the average is surprisingly lingering at a not-so-hot .246, which is out of character for him. That said, Panik's still bringing his typical high-contact ways to the table, and this early in the year, a few multi-hit games will bring that stat up in a hurry.

Panik (groin) returned to the lineup Friday, going 1-for-3 with a walk and a steal while batting second against the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
Outside of an uncharacteristic fielding error, Panik looked like his usual self out there. He didn't suffer any setbacks and is back in the lineup for Saturday's game against Jon Gray and the Rockies. Panik doesn't provide a ton of power or speed, but he is a steady option at second base and should have decent counting stats batting second.
