Jered Weaver pitched 7 2/3 innings and allowed three runs Saturday in a defeat of the Blue Jays. It's just the second time in seven starts that Weaver has allowed more than one run. He was working on a streak of 26 1/3 scoreless innings at home when Brett Lawrie homered in the third inning. Weaver is now 8-2 with a 3.68 ERA in 10 career starts against Toronto.

Jered Weaver lost his scoreless streak in the sixth inning Monday, but he allowed just the one run through seven against the Rangers. Weaver entered with a 14 2/3-inning scoreless streak and ran it to 19 2/3 innings before giving up the lone run tonight. Unfortunately, the bullpen couldn't hold on to his two-run lead, denying him his sixth win.

Jered Weaver threw 6 2/3 scoreless innings on Sunday night against the Red Sox. He allowed five hits, two walks, and had six strikeouts. After struggling in June, Weaver has put together three straight quality starts. He owns a 3.38 ERA and 1.19 WHIP over 61 1/3 innings.

Jered Weaver pitched seven innings of one-run ball to beat the Cardinals on Tuesday. Weaver's velocity was a little better tonight, and that's a good sign going forward. He allowed six hits, walked none and struck out five in winning for just the second time this season. He's 2-3 with a 3.50 ERA in seven starts since coming off the disabled list.

Jered Weaver spun seven innings of one-run ball Thursday in a no-decision against the Tigers. Weaver held the Tigers to just four hits while walking a pair and striking out six. The only run scored on an RBI single by Brayan Pena in the bottom of the second inning, but it was enough to cost him a chance at the victory. The veteran right-hander is winless over his last five starts, but fantasy owners should feel a little bit better about him going into another tough matchup next week against the Cardinals at home.

Jered Weaver coughed up four runs in six innings Friday in a loss to the Pirates. He struck out three and walked none. It's been a forgettable season for the right-hander, who missed seven weeks with a fractured left elbow and is 1-4 with a 4.65 ERA while healthy. His situation won't get any easier next week when he's slated to start in Detroit against the vaunted Tiger offense.

Jered Weaver allowed five runs on seven hits over six innings Sunday in a loss to the Yankees. Weaver gave up a three-run shot to Travis Hafner in the third inning that he wasn't able to overcome. He had six strikeouts, but allowed four walks and finished with his second straight non-quality start. Weaver will look to get back on track Friday vs. the Pirates.

Jered Weaver gave up four runs in 5 2/3 innings Monday in a loss to the Orioles. Adam Jones got to Weaver with a two-run homer in the fourth. The other two runs in the sixth were fluky; Nate McLouth bunted his way on base, stole second and then scored on a single and an error. The run proved to be earned after another single and a sac fly. If not for the sloppy track -- the game was delayed by rain in the inning -- perhaps Weaver would have had an easier time.
