Jered Weaver pitched seven innings of one-run ball to beat the Cardinals on Tuesday. Weaver's velocity was a little better tonight, and that's a good sign going forward. He allowed six hits, walked none and struck out five in winning for just the second time this season. He's 2-3 with a 3.50 ERA in seven starts since coming off the disabled list.
