Making his Marlins debut, Jacob Turner gave up three runs and four hits in six innings Wednesday in a loss to the Diamondbacks. Turner was more in control than counterpart Tyler Skaggs, walking none and striking out five in the game, but the top two hitters in the Arizona lineup got to him twice. Gerardo Parra singled and Aaron Hill homered in the first and then Parra singled, stole second and was knocked in by Hill again in the third. Turner still may well have earned himself another start with the performance. Even if he's sent down now, he'll be back for a longer look in September.

The 21-year-old tossed five-innings of one-run ball against the Cardinals last month and holds a 3.16 ERA and 40/24 K/BB ratio in 10 starts at the Triple-A level this year. He's worth a look in AL-only fantasy leagues.
