Marlins assigned RHP Jacob Turner to Triple-A New Orleans. The Marlins will let him get in a few starts in the minors before likely joining the big club later this summer. Turner put up an 8.03 ERA and 1.95 WHIP in three starts this year for the Tigers, so it won't hurt to get him a little more seasoning.
