Anderson (3-1) took the loss Saturday, giving up three runs on four hits and four walks over 4.2 innings as Atlanta was downed 7-2 by the Mets. He struck out eight.
EDGE Analysis
The strikeouts salvaged some fantasy value for the rookie, but otherwise this was Anderson's worst start since he joined the rotation in late August. His control has begun to waver -- he threw only 58 of 99 pitches for strikes Saturday, and he's issued 11 free passes over his last 14.2 innings -- but Atlanta will live with the 22-year-old's growing pains as the team pushes to clinch the NL East title. Anderson will take a 2.36 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 11.8 K/9 into his final outing of the regular season, Thursday at home against the Marlins.

Anderson (3-0) earned the win Saturday at Washington after allowing one hit with nine strikeouts and three walks across seven scoreless innings.
EDGE Analysis
The walks are somewhat of an issue as the 22-year-old issued at least three walks for the second straight contest, but he was otherwise dominant Saturday. Anderson has a 1.64 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 27:10 K:BB through his first four big-league starts (22 innings), and he lines up to pitch against the Mets next weekend.

Anderson allowed two runs (one earned) on two hits and four walks while striking out four across three innings Monday against Miami. He did not factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson didn't allow any major damage, though he was inefficient and showed significant struggles with his control. He needed 83 pitchers to record his nine outs, his shortest outing in the majors. Despite this down outing, Anderson has still had an impressive start to his big-league career, racking up 18 strikeouts across 15 innings while maintaining a 2.40 ERA. He's currently projected to make his next start Saturday at the Nationals.

Anderson will start Monday's game against the Marlins, 680 The Fan Atlanta reports.
EDGE Analysis
The rookie lined up for a two-start week after earning the win Tuesday against the Red Sox, but Josh Tomlin had his start pushed to Sunday, which also bumps back Anderson's outing. The 22-year-old has allowed only three runs on seven hits with a 14:3 K:BB through his first 12 innings.

Anderson (2-0) picked up the win in Tuesday's 10-3 victory over the Red Sox, allowing two runs on six hits and a walk over six innings. He struck out eight.
EDGE Analysis
While Atlanta's bats gave him plenty of run support, Anderson didn't need most of it as he held Boston in check over 96 pitches (61 strikes). The rookie has been a godsend for the team's banged-up rotation, delivering quality starts in both his trips to the mound so far with a 2.25 ERA, 0.83 WHIP and 14:3 K:BB through 12 innings. Anderson will look for his third straight win in Sunday's home outing against the Nationals.

Anderson is scheduled to start Tuesday's game against the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Given the Braves' lack of alternative starting options along with the fact that he limited an injury-ravaged Yankees lineup to one run over six innings in his MLB debut last week, there was little doubt Anderson would receive another turn through the rotation. Though he'll be making his first career road start Tuesday, Anderson will benefit from a matchup with another depleted lineup in the Red Sox, who are without slugger J.D. Martinez (hand).

Anderson (1-0) earned the win in Game 1 of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Yankees after allowing one run on one hits with six strikeouts and two walks over six innings.
EDGE Analysis
The 22-year-old was electric in his big-league debut and started things off with five no-hit frames, but Luke Voit hit a solo homer during the sixth inning to break things up. Anderson appeared fully stretched out and reached 90 pitches, and he's next set to take the mound early next week in Boston.

Anderson won't make his MLB debut Tuesday against the Yankees since the game was postponed due to inclement weather, Gabe Burns of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 22-year-old had his contract selected earlier in the day and was primed for a matchup opposite Gerrit Cole, but he'll need to wait one more day. The Braves and Yankees will play a traditional doubleheader Wednesday, with Anderson scheduled to start Game 1.

Anderson's contract was selected and he will start Tuesday's game against the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
This is far from a soft landing for the right-handed Anderson, as he will have to face a tough Yankees lineup, albeit one with few left-handed hitters. While Anderson is one of Atlanta's top pitching prospects, he has logged walk rates north of 10 percent at Double-A and Triple-A, so he is not a safe option, regardless of which team he is facing. His fastball is his best pitch when he is locating it, and his secondary offerings have been inconsistent but can flash plus.

Anderson could be called up from the Braves' alternate site to start Tuesday's game against the Yankees, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
After recently optioning Kyle Wright to the alternate site and moving Touki Toussaint to the bullpen, the Braves are down to a three-man rotation at the moment. Due to off days Monday and Thursday, the Braves will be able to get by with four starters until Sept. 1, but the team will still need a replacement for Toussaint on Tuesday. Assuming the Braves are ready to start his service clock, Anderson would probably rank as the best option to join the rotation, as the 22-year-old righty would be on a normal rest schedule after completing his most recent simulated game at the alternate site Thursday. The No. 3 overall pick in the 2016 first-year player draft, Anderson split the 2019 campaign between Triple-A Gwinnett and Double-A Mississippi, finishing tied for fourth in strikeouts in all of minor-league baseball (172). Control was an issue for Anderson, however, as he posted walk rates north of 10 percent at both affiliates.
