Anderson (shoulder) played long toss Monday and could throw off a mound later this week, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander resumed his throwing program late last week and is nearing his return to mound work after the brief shutdown. Anderson will need to build his workload back up before rejoining the starting rotation, and he's expected to make at least one rehab start in the minors.

Anderson (shoulder) played catch before Thursday's game, Paul Casella of MLB.com reports. "He said his shoulder felt really good," manager Brian Snitker said afterward. "So that was a really good thing."
EDGE Analysis
The club will wait to see how the right-hander is feeling Friday before moving on to the next step in his recovery, but given that he's been sidelined since July 11, Anderson may need a brief rehab stint before rejoining the Atlanta rotation.

Anderson (shoulder) is feeling better and will be re-evaluated in a few days, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson hit the injured list Friday with right shoulder inflammation and was scheduled to be shut down for 7-to-10 days. Given that he's feeling better, it's possible he hits the short end of that timeframe, which would accelerate his eventual return to the active roster, though that can't be certain until the results of his re-evaluation are known.

Anderson (shoulder) will be shut down from throwing for 7-10 days, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander isn't dealing with any structural damage in his shoulder, but he'll still be shut down at least a week to allow inflammation to subside. Anderson will require some time to build up his arm after the brief shutdown, so he likely won't be back until August. Touki Toussaint is slated to receive a look in the starting rotation during Anderson's absence.

Anderson was placed on the 10-day injured list Friday with right shoulder inflammation, retroactive to July 13.
EDGE Analysis
Manager Brian Snitker said the right-hander was likely headed to the IL after experiencing shoulder soreness during his start Sunday, and the move is now official coming out of the All-Star break. The diagnosis of inflammation indicates Anderson avoided a serious injury, though it's not clear how long he's expected to be sidelined. Touki Toussaint (shoulder) was activated from the 60-day IL in a corresponding move and could fill the spot in the starting rotation.

Atlanta manager Brian Snitker said Anderson experienced shoulder soreness during his start in Sunday's 7-3 loss to the Marlins and will likely require a stint on the 10-day injured list, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
After giving up no more than three runs in any of his last four outings, Anderson didn't have his best stuff Sunday, giving up four earned runs on six hits and five walks over 3.1 innings to take his fifth loss of the season. The team plans to send Anderson in for further testing Tuesday with the hope the right-hander is merely dealing with fatigue, but Snitker believes the youngster could be contending with a more serious issue. A firmer diagnosis on Anderson should become available within the next few days, but for now, fantasy managers should plan on him missing his next turn through the rotation, even with the benefit of the upcoming All-Star break.

Anderson gave up a run on five hits and three walks during Tuesday's 2-1 loss at Pittsburgh. He struck out four and didn't factor in the decision.
EDGE Analysis
The 23-year-old issued more than two walks for the first time in his past five starts and delivered only 56 of his 91 pitches for strikes. It was another strong outing for Anderson, who has a 2.62 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 29:9 K:BB across 34.1 frames in his last six outings. He tentatively lines up to close out the first half of the season Sunday at Miami.

Anderson allowed two earned runs on three hits and two walks while striking out a pair across seven innings in the win Thursday. He did not factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson allowed a run in the first inning on a Michael Conforto and surrendered a solo home run in the seventh frame to Dominic Smith. His two strikeouts were a season low, but he still posted his second quality start in a row and was in line for the win before the bullpen blew it. The 23-year-old has a 3.35 ERA and a 1.14 WHIP in 88.2 innings. He has a 2.45 ERA in 18.1 innings over his last three starts.

Anderson (5-4) took the loss Saturday, giving up three runs on five hits and a walk over six innings as Atlanta fell 4-1 to the Reds. He struck out nine.
EDGE Analysis
The young right-hander delivered his sixth quality start of the year with a season high in strikeouts, but Atlanta's bats didn't provide him with much run support. Anderson will carry a 3.42 ERA and 88:29 K:BB through 81.2 innings into his next outing.

Anderson (5-3) picked up the win in the second game of Monday's doubleheader against the Mets, allowing three hits and a walk over 5.1 scoreless innings in a 1-0 victory. He struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
Ronald Acuna's fifth-inning homer proved to be the only run of the game, but Anderson and the Atlanta bullpen made it hold up. The right-hander fell two outs short of his seventh quality start of the year, and he'll take a 3.33 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 79:28 K:BB through 75.2 innings into his next outing.
