Anderson allowed three earned runs on six hits and four walks while striking out six across five innings Thursday against the Marlins. He did not factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson didn't allow a long ball, which prevented this outing from becoming a disaster. However, he consistently fought his control -- only 57 of his 98 pitches were strikes -- and allowed 10 baserunners while recording only 15 outs. Anderson has had mixed results early on this season, as he's punched out 19 batters in only 15.1 frames, but he has yet to work more than 5.1 innings in any start this season and has a 4.70 ERA to show for it. He's in line to make his next start Wednesday at the Yankees.

Anderson hurled 5.1 innings against the Phillies on Saturday, allowing four runs on five hits and one walk while striking out six. He did not factor in the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson found himself with a two-run deficit in the first inning, but he bounced back to finish with a respectable final line. The right-hander yielded only two hits after that first frame, but both were solo home runs (by Andrew McCutchen and Bryce Harper). Anderson has allowed five runs while posting a 13:3 K:BB over 10.1 innings covering his first two starts -- each against Philadelphia. He'll get a different challenge Thursday when he faces Miami at home in his next scheduled start.

Anderson gave up one run on four hits and two walks while fanning seven across five innings Sunday against the Phillies. He didn't factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson posted an excellent 11.4 K/9 in six starts last season and while he might not be able to replicate those numbers over the course of a full season, he got off to a strong start this season while ending just three outs shy of recording a quality start. His next scheduled start will come April 10 at home facing the Phillies once again.

Anderson struck out nine over 4.2 innings during Friday's Grapefruit League game against the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
He held Minnesota scoreless through four frames before fading a bit in the fifth, but it was still another dominant outing for the 22-year-old. Anderson has a stunning 18:3 K:BB through 8.2 spring innings as he prepares to build on his impressive rookie campaign.

Anderson struck out seven with only one walk over 3.1 innings during Saturday's Grapefruit League game against the Red Sox, Gabriel Burns of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
He did allow three runs on four hits, including a Hunter Renfroe solo homer after Anderson had fanned the first four batters he faced, but overall the right-hander was satisfied with the outing. "I felt like the ball was coming out good and my mechanics were good," Anderson said afterwards. "I was filling up the strike zone for the most part, so those are positives to take away. The goal was to go four innings. I had a couple long at-bats and a couple hits, so (the pitch count) can build up quick, and I hit my pitch limit. The biggest thing is getting those ups and downs, going and sitting down and getting back out there for the next inning. I was happy with the way it ended." The 22-year-old is looking to build on last year's dazzling big-league debut that saw him post a 1.95 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 41:14 K:BB over 32.1 innings, and workload rather than performance could be the biggest fantasy question mark for Anderson heading into 2021.

Anderson threw just three innings in Game 7 of the NLCS against the Dodgers on Sunday, allowing two runs on five hits while walking two and striking out two.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson's teammates gave him a two-run cushion by scoring in both of the first two innings, but he gave it all back in the third, with a two-out rally setting up a two-RBI single for Will Smith. He was not asked to come back out for the fourth inning. The 22-year-old finishes the postseason with a 0.96 ERA and a 31.2 percent strikeout rate in 18.2 innings.

Anderson tossed four scoreless innings Tuesday as he didn't factor into the decision in the win over the Dodgers in Game 2 of the NLCS. He allowed one hit and five walks while striking out five.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson had his second scoreless outing of the postseason during Tuesday's contest, but he didn't qualify for the win during his four-inning appearance. He struggled with command, as only 48 of his 85 pitches went for strikes while he issued five walks. However, his strikeout rate remained high against the Dodgers. The right-hander could make another start during the NLCS if necessary.

Anderson (1-0) recorded the win over 5.2 innings of scoreless work Wednesday, allowing three hits and one walk while striking out eight in a victory over the Marlins in Game 2 of the NLDS.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson fanned eight in a dominant outing. The 22-year-old threw 61 of his 94 pitches for strikes and recorded a first-pitch strike on 10 of the 21 batters that he faced. The rookie has yet to allow a run this postseason. His next chance at taking the mound will come if the Braves advance to the NLCS.

Anderson picked up the win in Game 2 of the NL Wild Card Round against the Reds on Thursday, striking out nine while walking two and allowing just two hits over six scoreless innings.
EDGE Analysis
The stage certainly didn't look too large for the 22-year-old in his playoff debut, which was also just his seventh start at the big-league level. He did load the bases in the second inning on a single and a pair of walks, but that was the only time he allowed a runner to even reach second base. He's certainly earned a start in the NLDS against either the Cubs or Marlins.

Anderson (3-2) took the loss Thursday as Atlanta fell 4-2 to the Marlins, giving up three unearned runs on seven hits over 5.2 innings. He struck out six without walking a batter.
EDGE Analysis
The rookie took a shutout into the sixth inning, but an error by Adeiny Hechavarria to lead off the frame proved costly when Miami staged a two-out rally. Anderson closes out the regular season with an impressive 1.95 ERA and 41:14 K:BB through his first 32.1 big-league innings, and he should be a big part of Atlanta's rotation plans in the playoffs.
