Fedde allowed two runs on six hits and four walks while striking out five in Friday's win against Atlanta. He didn't factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
After the Nationals scored five runs over the first three innings Friday, Fedde appeared to be in line for his first win in nearly a month. However, Atlanta mounted a comeback in the ninth inning, and Fedde had to settle for a no-decision as the game went to extra innings. The right-hander now has a 5.06 ERA, but he's struggled with command as he carries a 17:19 K:BB over 37.1 innings this season. His next start should come on the road Friday against the Marlins.

Fedde allowed four earned runs on six hits and four walks while striking out two across 3.2 innings Saturday against Atlanta. He did not factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Fedde gave up a solo home run to the first batter he faced, and things didn't improve much from there as surrendered two more long balls prior to being pulled. Since posting 5.1 shutout innings on Aug. 14, Fedde has surrendered 14 earned runs across 14.2 frames the span of three starts. Overall, he has a 5.29 ERA with a 12:15 K:BB across 32.1 innings. He's currently penciled into take his next turn through the rotation Friday in a rematch against Atlanta.

Fedde (1-3) allowed six runs on four hits and a walk over six innings Monday, striking out four and taking the loss against Philadelphia.
EDGE Analysis
Fedde allowed a pair of solo shots in the first two innings to Rhys Hoskins and Jay Bruce, but a bulk of the damage against him came in the fourth inning with a three-run double by Jean Segura. His season ERA rose to 4.71 alongside an unsightly 10:11 K:BB. He'll face the Braves in Atlanta on Saturday.

Fedde (1-2) was charged with the loss Tuesday against the Phillies after surrendered four runs on seven hits with one strikeout and one walk over five innings.
EDGE Analysis
Most of the damage came from J.T. Realmuto's three-run homer during the third inning, but Fedde only managed four swinging strikes against 22 batters. The right-hander has a 3.57 ERA, 1.54 WHIP and 6:10 K:BB through 22.2 innings, and he'll look for better results Sunday at Boston.

Fedde is slated to start Tuesday's game against the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
Fedde had been in line to replace the injured Stephen Strasburg (hand) in the rotation Aug. 19 against Atlanta, but the game ended up being postponed due to rain. Rather than working Fedde back into the pitching schedule for this past weekend's series with the Marlins, the Nationals instead elected to summon Wil Crowe from the alternate site to make a spot start while serving as the 29th man for Saturday's doubleheader. With Washington now in need of a new starter as it plays its sixth game in five days, Fedde will finally take the hill for the first time since Aug. 14, when he tossed 5.1 shutout innings in long relief after Strasburg exited early that day.

Fedde will start one of Saturday's doubleheader games against the Marlins, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 27-year-old was scheduled to start Wednesday before the contest was postponed, and he'll now split Saturday's twin bill with Max Scherzer, though it's unclear who will start which game. Fedde has a 2.55 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 5:9 K:BB through 17.2 innings this season.

Fedde won't start as scheduled Wednesday against the Braves since the game was postponed due to inclement weather.
EDGE Analysis
The 27-year-old was set to rejoin the rotation in place of Stephen Strasburg (hand) this week, but his return to the rotation will be delayed by at least a few days. It remains to be seen if Washington adjusts the starting rotation coming out of the postponement, but Fedde should take the mound by early next week since the Nationals have a doubleheader with the Marlins this weekend.

Fedde is slated to start Wednesday's game against the Braves in Atlanta, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fedde was a logical choice to enter the rotation for Stephen Strasburg (hand) after working in long relief in Friday's 15-3 win over the Orioles. With Strasburg departing midway through the bottom of the first, Fedde came out of the bullpen to deliver 5.1 scoreless frames. Considering he tossed 69 pitches in that outing, Fedde should be able to handle something close to a normal starter's workload Wednesday.

Fedde (1-1) picked up the win in Friday's 15-3 victory over the Orioles, giving up two hits and three walks over 5.1 scoreless innings of relief. He failed to strike out a batter.
EDGE Analysis
Pressed into duty early after Stephen Strasburg (undisclosed) lasted only two-thirds of an inning, Fedde threw 69 pitches (39 strikes) to save the rest of the bullpen. If Strasburg's injury causes him to miss any turns, Fedde would be the most likely candidate to move into the rotation, potentially lining him up for a start Wednesday in Atlanta. The 27-year-old has a 2.55 ERA this season through 17.2 innings, but his 1.53 WHIP and 5:9 K:BB are much more worrisome from a fantasy standpoint.

Fedde will likely remain in the bullpen during the upcoming week with Max Scherzer (hamstring) expected to make his next scheduled start Tuesday against the Mets, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fedde earned a spot in the Opening Day rotation while Stephen Strasburg (hand) missed his first two turns, but he was deployed in long relief Aug. 5 against the Mets after Scherzer lasted just one inning before exiting with an injury. Since Strasburg was cleared to make his 2020 debut Sunday and Scherzer's hamstring has been responding well to workouts over the past couple of days, the Nationals are optimistic they'll have their ideal rotation intact for the first time all season.
