Fedde (1-3) took the loss against the Brewers on Sunday, allowing seven runs on 10 hits and two walks with four strikeouts over 5.2 innings.
EDGE Analysis
Fedde surrendered three runs in the first inning and then four more in the fourth. He was able to manage only eight whiffs on 103 pitches while yielding 11 hard-hit balls. The 32-year-old has been inconsistent in 2025, with four quality starts but also 13 total earned runs allowed in his other two outings. He'll carry a 4.68 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 17:16 K:BB across 32.2 innings into a home matchup with the Mets next weekend.

Fedde pitched through a calf issue after being struck by a line drive in the second inning of Monday's outing in Atlanta, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fedde wound up covering six innings in the start and limited Atlanta to two runs. He worked with a trainer in between innings to keep the muscle loose and felt fine while pitching, but Fedde had trouble putting weight on the leg while talking to the media after the game. Fedde will have six days of rest before his next scheduled start Monday in Cincinnati, and there's no indication at this point that he might be in danger of missing that start.

Fedde logged a no-decision against Atlanta on Monday, allowing two runs on five hits and three walks while notching three strikeouts over six innings.
EDGE Analysis
Fedde had only one clean inning among his six frames, but he managed to mostly tip-toe around trouble with the help of two double plays behind him. The righty was in line for the win when he departed, but Atlanta scored five runs in the eighth frame to pull out the victory. While Fedde has registered a fine 3.33 ERA and 1.19 WHIP and now has four quality starts in five appearances, he's played with fire in walking three of more batters in each of his past four outings while heavily pitching to contact. As a result, his FIP is a much less desirable 5.07, while his K:BB is an ugly 13:14 through 27 innings.

Fedde (1-2) took the loss Tuesday against the Astros after giving up one run on six hits and three walks in six innings. He struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
Fedde managed to escape two bases-loaded jams, with one coming in the second inning by getting Mauricio Dubon to fly out and another in the fourth after by forcing Jose Altuve to fly out. Jake Meyers plated a run on a single in the sixth, but Fedde was able to induce a double play to close his outing on a positive note. Although the veteran right-hander carries a solid 3.43 ERA and 1.14 WHIP through four starts (21 innings), his 10:11 K:BB is a cause for concern heading into next week's tough matchup in Atlanta.

Fedde came away with a no-decision in Wednesday's 2-1 extra-innings loss to the Pirates, walking four and striking out two over six scoreless, no-hit innings.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander traded goose eggs with Mitch Keller for 88 pitches (51 strikes) before getting lifted in a game that didn't see its first run cross the plate until the 12th inning. Fedde has delivered two quality starts in three trips to the mound to begin the season, and he'll take a 4.20 ERA and 5:8 K:BB through 15 innings into his next start, which lines up to come at home early next week against the Astros.

Fedde (1-1) took the loss against the Red Sox on Friday, allowing six runs on five hits and four walks with one strikeout over three innings.
EDGE Analysis
Fedde was torched for five runs in the first inning, highlighted by back-to-back home runs from Trevor Story and Wilyer Abreu. His command was off, as he threw only 37 of 65 pitches for strikes and generated just three whiffs. The 32-year-old owns a 7.00 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 3:4 K:BB through nine innings this season and will try to rebound in a more favorable matchup against the Pirates next week.

Fedde (1-0) picked up the win in Saturday's 5-1 victory over Minnesota, allowing one run on two hits over six innings. He struck out two without walking a batter.
EDGE Analysis
While Fedde wasn't dominant, the right-hander generated plenty of weak contact en route to a quality start in his 2025 debut. He tossed an efficient 73 pitches (47 strikes) before exiting, picking up where he left off after a successful return from the KBO in 2024. Fedde is scheduled to make his next start on the road next weekend in Boston.

Fedde has permitted seven runs on 10 hits, three walks and four strikeouts over 10 innings during Grapefruit League action.
EDGE Analysis
Much of the damage came in his last start against the Marlins, when Fedde served up three home runs and six runs over four frames. Fedde had just a 19.7 percent strikeout rate from May on last season and the lack of whiffs has continued this spring. However, while fantasy managers shouldn't count on many strikeouts, Fedde showed last year that he is capable of providing useful ratios.

Fedde is scheduled to start the Cardinals' Grapefruit League opener Saturday versus the Marlins, John Denton of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fedde is unlikely to cover more than one or two innings Saturday, but he'll get gradually stretched out during spring training and should be ready to handle a typical starter's workload when his first turn through the rotation of the regular season comes up. After returning stateside with a revamped repertoire in 2024 following a one-year stint in Korea, Fedde emerged as a viable mid-rotation arm between stops with the White Sox and Cardinals. Over his 31 starts, the 31-year-old right-hander submitted a 3.30 ERA and 1.16 WHIP while punching out 154 batters over 177.1 innings.

Fedde (9-9) earned the win over Colorado on Wednesday, allowing one run on six hits and one walk while striking out 10 batters over seven innings.
EDGE Analysis
Fedde racked up 14 whiffs en route to his 10 punchouts, which were his second-most this season (he fanned 11 batters against the Twins on April 23). The right-hander picked up his second straight quality start, and he's given up two or fewer earned runs in five of his past seven outings. If Fedde doesn't pitch again this season, as expected, he'll finish the campaign with career-best marks in wins (nine), ERA (3.30), WHIP (1.16) and strikeouts (154) while tallying a career-high 31 starts and 177.1 innings.
