The White Sox signed Fedde to a one-year contract Monday, Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fedde, of course, spent the 2023 season in the KBO before returning to the majors in 2024 with the White Sox, where Fedde experienced success prior to being dealt to the Cardinals at the trade deadline that summer. Fedde was knocked around with St. Louis and pitched for three different teams in 2025, posting an ugly 5.49 ERA and 83:67 K:BB across 141 innings. The White Sox and Fedde will hope he can recapture some of that previous success again in 2026. He'll compete for a spot in the rotation this spring.

Fedde cleared waivers Tuesday and was sent outright to Triple-A Nashville, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fedde was designated for assignment shortly before the end of the regular season after posting a 3.38 ERA and 1.13 WHIP over 16 innings with the Brewers. The 32-year-old righty is still working out with the big club in preparation for the NLDS, but he won't be eligible to rejoin the active roster for 15 days unless he replaces an injured player.

Milwaukee designated Fedde for assignment Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Fedde inked a one-year deal with the Brewers in late August, but his run with the team will come to an end ahead of the regular-season finale versus the Reds. The veteran right-hander appeared in seven games with Milwaukee, logging a 3.38 ERA, a 1.12 WHIP and a 7:7 K:BB across 16 innings.

Fedde gathered a hold while giving up a double and retiring the other two batters he faced during a relief appearance in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
Fedde made his second appearance as a member of the Brewers, this time working out of the bullpen after he had previously made a 4.1-inning start versus the Diamondbacks in his team debut Aug. 27. Since he tossed just 10 pitches Saturday, Fedde could be in consideration to make a spot start in Texas on Tuesday, when the Brewers will have a temporary opening in the rotation. However, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel notes that Chad Patrick has joined the Brewers in Texas, so he could be formally recalled from Triple-A Nashville to draw the start over Fedde on Tuesday.

Fedde (4-13) was saddled with the loss Wednesday against the Diamondbacks, allowing two runs on eight hits and no walks in 4.1 innings. He struck out two.
EDGE Analysis
Piggybacking off opener Aaron Ashby, Fedde functioned as a long reliever in his Brewers debut and poured in 52 of his 71 pitches for strikes. Quinn Priester was originally tabbed to start earlier in the day before being pushed back, so it's unclear how Milwaukee will choose to deploy Fedde going forward. Fedde will likely be unavailable out of the bullpen for at least a few days following Wednesday's showing, and his unsightly 5.71 ERA, 1.58 WHIP and 78:60 K:BB across 129.1 innings render him someone to consider leaving on waiver wires in most leagues.

Fedde is expected to be used in bulk relief behind opening pitcher Aaron Ashby in his Brewers debut Wednesday against the Diamondbacks, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wednesday had been Quinn Priester's turn in the rotation, but the Brewers are opting to push him back at least one more day in the pitching schedule in order to clear the way for Fedde to get some extended innings after finalizing a one-year deal earlier in the day. Between stops with St. Louis and Atlanta earlier this season, Fedde has been one of the baseball's most ineffective starters, logging a 5.76 ERA, 1.57 WHIP and 76:60 K:BB in 125 innings. The Brewers haven't outlined what Fedde's role might look like beyond Wednesday, but if he ends up pitching well, he could enter the conversation for additional starts or bulk-relief appearances.

Fedde signed a one-year contract with the Brewers on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Fedde will move on to his third team in a month after Atlanta recently cut ties with him following a rough five-appearance run in which he yielded an 8.10 ERA, 1.84 WHIP and 13:13 K:BB in 23.1 innings. Milwaukee will bring the veteran right-hander aboard with the hope that its staff can help him more closely resemble the pitcher that turned in a 3.30 ERA over 31 starts between the White Sox and Cardinals in 2024, but Fedde is unlikely to be trusted with a meaningful role right away. With Milwaukee's top five starters all healthy, Fedde will presumably be ticketed for a mop-up or low-leverage relief role out of the bullpen.

Atlanta released Fedde on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
After losing his spot in the rotation, the veteran right-hander handled mop-up duty in Friday's 12-7 loss to the Mets, giving up six runs across 4.1 innings. It's a fitting end to Fedde's time in Atlanta, and he finished his run for the team with an 8.10 ERA, 1.84 WHIP and 13:13 K:BB across 23.1 innings.

Fedde worked in long relief during Friday's 12-7 loss to the Mets, covering 4.1 innings and striking out one batter while allowing six earned runs on 11 hits and two walks.
EDGE Analysis
After being acquired from the Cardinals on July 27, Fedde stepped into the Atlanta rotation but fared poorly over his four starts with the club, netting a 7.11 ERA, 1.58 WHIP and 12:11 K:BB in 19 innings. With Atlanta claiming Cal Quantrill off waivers from Miami on Thursday and inserting him into the rotation Saturday, Fedde was moved to the bullpen for the weekend series and was put to work Friday after starter Joey Wentz was chased from the game midway through the fourth inning. Though he spared the rest of the bullpen from overuse, Fedde was knocked around during his 93-pitch appearance and is unlikely to see opportunities in high-leverage spots anytime soon.

Fedde did not factor in the decision during Sunday's win over the Guardians. He allowed four runs on six hits and three walks over four innings while striking out five.
EDGE Analysis
Fedde worked a perfect first inning before things started to go south. He loaded the bases in the second but escaped without giving up a run. The Guardians then plated a pair of runs in each of the third and fourth frames. Fedde has now made four starts with Atlanta and has given up at least three runs while failing to complete six innings in all four. That's resulted in a 7.11 ERA, driving his season ERA to 5.52 across 120.2 innings. Fedde is currently projected for a home matchup against the Mets next weekend.
