Fowler is out of the lineup Sunday against the Reds, Jim Hayes of FOX Sports Midwest reports.
EDGE Analysis
Despite hitting just .177 over 210 plate appearances this season, Fowler doesn't look to be on the outs for a starting role just yet, with the five-year, $82.5 million contract he signed with the Cardinals two winters ago surely aiding his job security. However, until he displays more consistency at the plate for an extended stretch, he may continue to surrender a couple starts per week to Harrison Bader, who has impressed in a small sample with his power and speed. Bader gets the nod in right field in the series finale and will bat seventh.

Fowler is not in the lineup against Miami on Wednesday, Jim Hayes of Fox Sports Midwest reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fowler will retreat to the bench with left-hander Wei-Yin Chen taking the hill for the Marlins. Harrison Bader will get the start in right field in his stead. Look for Fowler to return to the starting nine during Thursday's series finale with righty Elieser Hernandez on the mound.

Fowler is not in the lineup Sunday against the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
Fowler went 3-for-11 with a double and one strikeout through the first three games of the weekend series. He'll receive a day of rest Sunday with Harrison Bader set to fill in at right field.

Fowler went 2-for-4 with a two-run single and two runs in a win over the Pirates on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Fowler's luck may finally be turning as the calendar flips to June, as he closed out May by going 5-for-8 over the final two games. While all of those hits were singles, any success at the plate is a welcome sight, considering the veteran outfielder's average hasn't seen the Mendoza Line since April 15. Fowler's BABIP just hit that milestone in its own right with Thursday's effort, so continued improvement in that category should result in a corresponding boost across the board.

Fowler went 3-for-4 with a trio of singles in Wednesday's loss to the Brewers.
EDGE Analysis
Fowler missed three straight games after getting hit by a pitch on his right knee Saturday, but he avoided a DL stint and showed no signs of rust in his return. The three hits matched a season-best, but the 32-year-old is still hitting a lowly .172 and figures to be rotated out of the lineup a couple times per week unless that number starts turning around.

Fowler (knee) is starting in right field and hitting sixth Wednesday against the Brewers.
EDGE Analysis
A couple days ago it seemed that he may need a DL stint, but things started trending in the right direction and Fowler will only end up missing three games with the knee issue. The Cardinals have five outfielders who either deserve somewhat regular playing time or, like in Fowler's case, are being paid too much to be relegated to a bench role, so they should continue with rotation that results in Fowler sitting a couple times each week.

Manager Mike Matheny said Fowler (knee) isn't expected to land on the 10-day disabled list, Joe Trezza of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fowler's knee responded well enough to some speed and agility tests Monday, giving the Cardinals confidence that the veteran outfielder won't require a stay on the disabled list. He was also able to take batting practice prior to Tuesday's game against the Brewers and could be available off the bench, depending on how he feels. Harrison Bader is starting in his place.

Fowler (knee) is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Brewers, Joe Trezza of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fowler will miss a third straight game as he continues to nurse a right knee injury. He was reportedly feeling better over the weekend, though the Cardinals still haven't ruled out a potential trip to the disabled list. Harrison Bader will pick up another start in right field in his stead, hitting fifth.

Fowler (knee) is out of Monday's lineup against the Brewers, Joe Trezza of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
This comes as no surprise, as a disabled list stint has not been completely ruled out, although Fowler was reportedly doing better Sunday. Harrison Bader will start in right field and hit sixth in his stead.

Fowler (knee) is slowly getting better according to manager Mike Matheny, Joe Trezza of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fowler was drilled by a pitch Saturday on his right knee, and although X-rays came back negative, he could require a short stint on the disabled list. He was reportedly feeling better Sunday, but another update will likely be available Monday.
