Fowler moved down to fifth in the order against the Reds on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
During all 16 of Fowler's starts this season, the outfielder has hit atop the order for the Cardinals, but manager Mike Matheny will look to switch things up in order to get some of his batters back on track. Matt Carpenter, who is hitting just .177 through 18 games, will man the leadoff spot while Fowler hits behind cleanup hitter Jose Martinez.

Fowler is not in the starting lineup Friday against the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
Fowler is off to a very slow start, hitting just .176/.269/.294 through 78 plate appearances, though his .204 BABIP indicates that he's getting hurt by some bad luck. Harrison Bader will start in his place in right field Friday.

Fowler is out of the lineup against the Reds on Saturday, Joe Trezza of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fowler will receive a day off after going 4-for-10 with one home run, two RBI and four runs scored over the first two games of this series. In his place, Harrison Bader gets the nod in right while batting sixth in the order.

Fowler went 2-for-5 in the win over the Reds on Friday, cranking his second home run of the season.
EDGE Analysis
It's been a cold start for Fowler, as he's hitting just .196 with four extra-base hits in 14 games. He has, however, recorded multi-hit games in three of the last five contests. Fowler's value lies in his ability to get on base and score runs. His current on-base percentage of .281 sits well below his career average (.365) and he figures to get closer to his career marks as the season continues.

Fowler went 2-for-5 with an RBI from a bases-loaded walk and also scored three runs in a 13-4 win over the Reds on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
After a day off Wednesday, Fowler made an auspicious return to the top of the order with a full line befitting the leadoff spot. The 32-year-old is still struggling with consistency at the plate in the early going, but he now has a pair of two-hit outings in his last three starts. While his average (.176) still resides well below the Mendoza Line, fantasy owners can take solace in the fact that Fowler got off to a similarly slow start in 2017 before finishing with a solid .264/.363/.488 line that included career bests in home runs (18) and RBI (64).

Fowler is leading off and starting in right field against the Reds on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Fowler was given his first off day of the season in Wednesday's loss to the Brewers, although he did strike out in a pinch-hit appearance. The 32-year-old has been a bit better of late after going hitless in the season's opening series against the Mets, but still holds a .152/.245/.261 slash line in 46 at-bats.

Fowler is not in the lineup against the Brewers on Wednesday, Joe Trezza of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fowler will retreat to the bench for the first time in 2018 while Harrison Bader draws a start in right field. In his absence, Greg Garcia is set to hit atop the order for Wednesday's series finale.

Fowler went 2-for-4 with two RBI from a run-scoring single and a sacrifice fly and also scored once in a 5-4 extra-inning loss to the Brewers on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
The multi-hit outing was a welcome sight for Fowler, who'd accomplished the feat in only one prior game and had come into Monday in the midst of a 1-for-12 slump that had encompassed the three previous contests. The 32-year-old outfielder also doubled up his RBI total for the season with his timely hitting, putting himself a bit closer to vaulting what is now a .167 average over the Mendoza Line for the first time this season.

Fowler went 0-for-4 Sunday in the 4-1 loss to the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
Fowler has had a rough start to the season, slashing .132/.195/.263 through his first nine games. He still has plenty of time to turn it around, and the 32-year-old should see plenty of opportunities to do so as the season progresses.

Fowler went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in St. Louis' 5-4 defeat to Milwaukee on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
A game after getting his first hit of 2018, Fowler checked in with two more on Tuesday including a leadoff solo homer against the Brewers' Chase Anderson. With his 0-for-13 stretch to open the year now behind him, Fowler should see his .130 batting average start to climb closer to his career mark of .267 as he collects more at-bats.
