Manager Jon Gibbons said there's a good chance Travis could embark on a rehab assignment this weekend, Sportsnet's Barry Davis reports.
Travis has been on the DL for nearly two weeks, but his shoulder inflammation is beginning to subside, and if he continues to make progress, he could be on the road for rehab and back with the club in short order.

Travis (shoulder) has been placed on the 15-day DL with retroactive to May 17 shoulder inflammation, Shi Davidi of SportsNet reports.
Travis' shoulder inflammation forced him out of the lineup for five straight games before finally being placed on the DL. In a corresponding move, Toronto recalled Munenori Kawasaki.

Travis (shoulder) is not in the lineup Thursday against the Angels.
Travis will now miss a fifth consecutive game as he continues to deal with an irritation in his left shoulder. It had previously been reported that Travis was unexpected to need a stint on the disabled list, but the chances of the club retroactively placing him on the DL increase with each game he sits out. Steve Tolleson will continue to assume the second base duties in his absence, batting ninth Thursday.

Travis (shoulder) is out of the lineup Wednesday, SportsNet's Shi Davidi reports.
The hope is that Travis does not end up on the disabled list, but he will now be out for the fourth straight game, so owners are probably getting pretty impatient. Hopefully the time off will allow Travis, who had been slumping a little prior to the injury, to recharge his batteries and hit the ground running when he's healthy. Steve Tolleson will get the start at second base Wednesday.

Travis (shoulder) is not expected to need a stint on the disabled list according to manager John Gibbons, John Lott of the National Post reports.
Travis will be held out of the lineup Tuesday as he'll miss his third consecutive game, but it appears he's expected to return to the lineup soon enough to prevent a DL stint. He remains day-to-day as Steve Tolleson figures to see the majority of playing time at second base with Travis out.

Travis (shoulder) is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Angels, John Lott of the National Post reports.
This will be the third straight game Travis is held out of the lineup after he was forced out of Saturday's contest with an irritation in his left shoulder. There's no indication at this point that the issue is anything more serious than a day-to-day situation, but it's worth monitoring in case he continues to sit on the bench with the ailment. Steve Tolleson will once again get the start at second base in his stead.

Travis (shoulder) is out of the lineup Monday against the Angels, Barry Davis of Sportsnet reports.
Travis exited Saturday's game after irritation in his left shoulder, and will now miss his second straight game as a result. He should still be considered day-to-day at this point, as there's no indication the issue is anything worse than that. Steve Tolleson will start at second base again Monday, batting eighth for the Blue Jays.

Travis (shoulder) will not play in Sunday's game against the Astros, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet reports.
Travis was removed from Saturday's contest after experiencing irritation in his left shoulder during an at-bat in the seventh inning. The Blue Jays are listing him as day-to-day for now, but with Jose Reyes (ribs) already on the disabled list, the team can ill afford another loss in the middle infield. Outfielder Ezequiel Carrera will replace Travis atop the Jays' order Sunday, while Steve Tolleson fills in at second base. The Blue Jays may have a better idea about the extent of Travis' injury once the team returns to Toronto on Monday for their series opener with the Angels.

Travis left Saturday's game against the Astros early due to left shoulder irritation, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet reports.
Travis reportedly felt the issue during an at-bat in the seventh inning, and was replaced defensively in the bottom of the inning by Steve Tolleson. It's unclear how serious the issue is at this point, but the irritation is in his non-throwing shoulder, which is much less concerning for the long-term.

Travis is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Orioles.
Travis will head to the bench after nine consecutive starts, as Steve Tolleson mans second base and Ezequiel Carrera steps in atop the order. There has been nothing to suggest an injury is in play, so it seems manager John Gibbons just thinks Travis could use a mental break after going 2-for-18 in his last five games and 6-for-35 (.171 average) to begin May.
