Travis went 1-for-5 with a grand slam in Sunday's 10-7 loss to the Indians. Travis has continued his torrid start at the plate with his first career grand slam and his seventh home run of the season, which leads all second basemen and is tied for sixth in the MLB. He is also third in the MLB with 23 RBI. While it would be difficult for Travis to keep this pace up, he is one of the top middle infielders right now and fantasy owners would be wise to ride this hot streak for as long as it lasts.

Travis (chest) is back in the lineup Saturday against the Indians, Barry Davis of Sportsnet.ca reports. Travis will return to second base and atop the batting order after missing just one game with soreness near his upper chest. The team reportedly feared Travis may have cracked his collarbone after taking a ball to the area Thursday night, but X-rays came back clean. Travis has been outstanding in the early going, hitting .325/.393/.625 with six home runs, 17 runs scored and 19 RBI.

Travis is out of the lineup Friday due to soreness near his collarbone, but his X-ray was negative, Barry Davis of Sportsnet.ca reports. The Blue Jays feared Travis may have cracked his collarbone after taking a ball to his upper chest in Thursday's game, but fortunately, the X-ray revealed no fracture. Travis is said to be very sore, and his availability for the rest of this weekend's series is uncertain, but the 24-year-old appears no worse than day-to-day. Ryan Goins is starting at second base Friday.

Travis is not in the lineup Friday against the Indians. The Blue Jays have not yet provided a reason for Travis' absence, but it may have to due with the ball he took off his upper chest during Thursday's game. Travis was able to shake it off and stay in the game, but perhaps the soreness worsened overnight. Josh Donaldson will lead off for Toronto on Friday as Ryan Goins steps in at second base.

Travis went 3-for-4 with his fourth homer, a steal and two RBI in Wednesday's win over Baltimore. The swipe was his first of the year, highlighting that Travis seems to be feeling just fine after taking a ball to the ribs Sunday, which kept him out of Tuesday's game. The rookie's off to a big start, and in Toronto's favorable hitting environs, he appears poised to provide fantasy owners with terrific value moving forward.

Travis (ribs) is back in the lineup Wednesday against the Orioles, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet reports. Travis was removed from Sunday's contest in the first inning after taking a pitch to the ribs, and it forced him to sit Tuesday's game as well. Thankfully, the diagnosis was just a contusion, and he's healed enough to return to the lineup Wednesday. Unfortunately, his spot atop the Blue Jays' order has returned to Jose Reyes, and while he'll hit second Wednesday, he should drop again when Jose Bautista returns to the lineup from a day off.

Travis (ribs) is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Orioles, Brendan Kennedy of the Toronto Star reports. Travis was seen favoring his ribs while working out with a trainer earlier Tuesday, after he was removed from Sunday's game against the Braves in the first inning. X-rays came back negative, and he's merely considered day-to-day, but Travis will be out of the lineup for at least one game. Meanwhile, Jose Reyes (ribs) is back in the lineup and batting leadoff, but with the star shortstop limited to hitting from the right side, his health will be worth keeping an eye on. Should Reyes ultimately need to miss more time, Travis could get another stint atop the lineup. Ryan Goins is starting Tuesday's game at second base.

Travis (ribs) appeared to still be sore while working out with a trainer Tuesday afternoon, John Lott of the National Post reports. There's a picture of Travis clutching at his ribs, which doesn't bode well for his chances of being in Tuesday's starting lineup against Bud Norris and the Orioles. Even if he's in the lineup, Travis may drop back toward the bottom of the order, as Jose Reyes (ribs) hopes to make a return. There's also a decent chance Reyes will instead be placed on the disabled list, in which case Travis could be looking at a multi-week stint in the leadoff hole, assuming his own rib injury isn't too serious. Toronto's top reserves in the middle infield, Ryan Goins and Steve Tolleson, may be busy in the coming days.

Travis (ribs) underwent precautionary X-rays that revealed a contusion, and he's listed as day-to-day, Barry Davis of Sportsnet reports. Travis exited the contest after being plunked in the ribs, but a contusion is likely considered a best-case scenario for the second baseman. He received a promotion to the top of the order following the injury to Jose Reyes, and could continue in that role if Reyes requires a stint on the DL.

Travis exited Sunday's game against the Braves in the first inning with a left rib contusion, Gregor Chisholm of MLB.com reports. Just a contusion for Travis should be considered great news, as the alternative (a fracture) could cost him extended time. He's likely day-to-day at this point, but the Blue Jays should update his status at some point prior to Tuesday's game against the Orioles.
