The Jays plan to move Travis into the leadoff role at some point in the near future, the Toronto Star reports.
EDGE Analysis
Travis recently returned from a shoulder injury suffered last July. Gibbons had mentioned before that he would like to see the second baseman atop the order once Travis gets his timing back. The sophomore wasn't exactly impressive hitting first last season -- in 84 at-bats as the Jays leadoff hitter, Travis slashed .202/.272/.357 with 19 strikeouts. Regardless, hitting leadoff for (what should be) one of the better offenses in MLB comes with enormous upside.

Travis is out of the lineup Monday against the Yankees, Sportsnet's Shi Davidi reports.
EDGE Analysis
Travis has made five straight starts since returning to action Wednesday, but will sit Monday in favor of Darwin Barney at the keystone. So far, Travis is picking up right where he left off before his 2015 campaign was cut shot, as the 25-year-old is 6-for-22 with a double and three RBI since returning.

Travis went 2-for-5 with a double, two RBI and a run scored in Saturday's 10-9 victory over the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Travis has hit safely in each of the four games since returning from a 15-day DL stint due to a shoulder injury, and provided some particularly timely offense in the late innings. The 25-year-old doubled in Justin Smoak in the eighth to close the Red Sox lead to 8-6, and then brought Russell Martin home with an infield single in the bottom of the ninth for the game winner. He hit seventh once again, but could certainly see a move up in the order in the coming days.

Travis went 1-for-4 in his season debut on Wednesday against the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
Travis hit out of the eighth spot and singled in his second at-bat before scoring all the way from first on a two-run double by Ryan Goins. Blue Jays manager John Gibbons said he would give Travis a couple of days to see how he looks before moving him up in the batting order. The expectation is that it's only a matter of time before Travis becomes the regular leadoff hitter, and that could happen as soon as Friday night's game against the Red Sox.

Travis will start at second base and bat eighth Wednesday against the Yankees, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
He will immediately slot into the lineup, as expected, following a successful nine-game minor league rehab stint. It may take Travis a little while to adjust to major league pitching and get the shoulder back to full strength, but even so, he should have little trouble fending off Ryan Goins for playing time at second base.

Travis (shoulder) was activated from the 15-day DL on Wednesday, Barry Davis of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
Travis will join the Blue Jays after hitting .273 with three RBI through five games at the Triple-A level this season. With Ryan Goins hitting just .148 this season, there's a good chance Travis could see some immediate playing time.

Travis (shoulder) will be activated from the disabled list Wednesday, MLB Network's Jon Morosi reports.
EDGE Analysis
The talented young second baseman has been rehabbing at High-A Dunedin and Triple-A Buffalo in recent weeks and he was not expected to rejoin the team for its current series against the Yankees. However, Travis has progressed to the point where he's ready to go, so he'll be activated ahead of Wednesday's contest. It's unclear if he'll immediately rejoin the lineup, but once he works into his regular role at second base, Darwin Barney and Ryan Goins will see reduced playing time at the keystone. Travis hit .273 with two doubles in 22 at-bats during his rehab assignment.

Travis (shoulder) will not be ready to rejoin the Blue Jays for a three-game series at Yankee Stadium starting Tuesday, the Toronto Star reports.
EDGE Analysis
This really isn't much of a surprise as the team has been consistent in not rushing Travis back to the big. However, it won't be much longer until the second baseman returns to the big league club and is inserted into the starting lineup.

Travis (shoulder) will join Triple-A Buffalo on Thursday to continue his rehab assignment, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
Four games with High-A Dunedin -- that's all Travis needed to convince the organization that he's ready to face more advanced competition. Travis went 5-for-14 with two doubles, five RBI, one strikeout and one walk while with Dunedin. If he's able to keep it going with Buffalo, there's a chance Travis could return before his 20-day window to rehab closes, but that's not a given.

Travis is 3-for-11 with a double through three games of his minor-league rehab assignment with Class-A Dunedin.
EDGE Analysis
The Blue Jays continue to remain fairly quiet when it comes to offering a timetable on the second baseman's return. Travis seems to progressing well, but still appears a few weeks away from a return to Toronto.
