Duffy allowed four runs on nine hits, struck out eight and walked one over 5.2 innings in a no-decision against the Tigers on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
The lefty has been off his game lately, allowing 11 runs in the last 10.2 innings over his two most recent starts. This little rough patch ends a streak of seven straight quality starts. He is 11-2 with a 3.13 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 157 strikeouts in 149.1 innings this season.

Duffy (11-1) allowed one run on eight hits and two walks while striking out four over 6.2 innings to earn the win Sunday against the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
Duffy has held opponents to one run or fewer in five of his last seven starts to lower a 3.27 ERA to 2.66, and he's also posted a win in each of his last five starts. After finishing 2015 with a 4.08 ERA, he's rebounded quite well, and he looks like the starter who broke out in 2014. He'll make his next start Saturday against the Red Sox.

Duffy (10-1) pitched 7.2 quality innings, allowing one run on three hits and two walks while striking out five Tigers in Tuesday's win.
EDGE Analysis
Tuesday's effort earned Duffy his 12th quality start since June 1, tying him with Max Scherzer for the MLB lead over that span. In August, Duffy is 4-0 with a 1.15 ERA, .148 BAA and 33:5 K:BB over 31 innings. The left-hander's only blemish of the year was back on June 6, and even that was a quality outing. Duffy is one of the hottest pitchers in the league, and he'll make his next start Sunday versus the Twins.

Duffy allowed just one run with six strikeouts compared to no walks in a dominant complete game victory over the White Sox on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
The left-hander pitched to contact Thursday, as he induced 10 ground ball outs and 11 fly ball outs, albeit at the expense of his strikeout total. He pounded the zone at an impressive 72 percent clip and needed just 98 pitches to go the distance for the first time in his career. A former top prospect, Duffy had begun to show signs indicative of a bust before this season, but he has been a revelation, and now owns a shiny 2.82 ERA to go along with a 9-1 record. He will look to continue his strong run of form Tuesday against the Tigers.

Duffy (7-1) threw eight shutout innings, allowed just one hit and one walk, and struck out 16 batters in a dominant win Monday over the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
Duffy's brilliant performance netted him a 95 Game Score, tying him with Clayton Kershaw for the fourth-best start this season by the metric. He has been on a roll for the past seven starts, in which he has six quality starts and has lowered his ERA from 3.37 to 2.98. He now has 55 strikeouts against seven walks in 50 innings over this hot streak and has surrendered just three home runs. It's hard to find a pitcher in better form in the major leagues right now.

Duffy met the minimum standard for a quality start Wednesday, allowing three runs in six innings in a no-decision against the Angels. He struck out five while allowing seven hits and two walks.
EDGE Analysis
Duffy's been quietly piling up the quality starts lately, notching five in his last six games. Even so, not all those starts have been impressive; Duffy can thank the Royals for keeping him without a loss since June 6. That's not to say the lefty doesn't deserve credit for the fantasy package he's offered this year -- more than a strikeout per inning along with strong ratios.

Duffy (6-1) pitched 6.2 innings Friday, allowing one run, four hits and two walks while striking out four Rangers in the win.
EDGE Analysis
Duffy continued the dominance he's shown through most of his starts this season. Despite beginning the season as a reliever, Duffy has made the most of his starting role and is now on pace to win double-digit games for the first time in his six-year career. The southpaw's only mistake Friday was solo shot given up to Rougned Odor, who is third in homers among AL second baseman. Duffy has been a pleasant surprise this year, and until he falters, owners should feel safe deploying him regardless of the matchup.

Duffy (5-1) allowed four runs on six hits, struck out seven and walked one in a victory over the Tigers on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The lefty had a four-run lead before he even took the mound. Duffy gave up a run in the first, but Kansas City immediately got it back and scored eight before the end of the fifth. Duffy is posting solid fantasy numbers, particularly in the strikeouts category, over his last four starts. He has punched out 38 batters in his last 34 innings. He is 5-1 with a 3.27 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 101 strikeouts in 88 innings. His next start will be Friday against the Rangers.

Duffy (4-1) allowed two runs on seven hits, struck out eight and walked none over 8.2 innings in a victory over the Phillies on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
After pitching eight complete innings just one other time in his six-year career prior to last week, Duffy has now pitched at least eight frames in each of his last two starts. His 8.2 innings Saturday is the most of his MLB career. Over the last 16.2 innings, he's allowed just four runs (2.16 ERA) and struck out 16 with no walks. Duffy has struck out at least eight in five of his last six outings, and in three his last six starts, he's had at least eight punchouts with zero walks. Duffy will look to keep this strong stretch going in his next start Thursday against the Mariners.

Duffy (3-1) allowed two runs on six hits with eight strikeouts over eight innings in a win Monday over the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Duffy lasted more than 6.1 innings for the first time since he rejoined the rotation May 21. But Duffy has been pitching at a high level for some time, as he now has four starts with at least eight strikeouts in his past five starts, three of which have been quality starts. After Duffy's performance Monday, he now owns a 3.55 ERA with an excellent 53:9 K:BB in just 45.2 innings as a starter.
