EDGE Analysis
After pitching eight complete innings just one other time in his six-year career prior to last week, Duffy has now pitched at least eight frames in each of his last two starts. His 8.2 innings Saturday is the most of his MLB career. Over the last 16.2 innings, he's allowed just four runs (2.16 ERA) and struck out 16 with no walks. Duffy has struck out at least eight in five of his last six outings, and in three his last six starts, he's had at least eight punchouts with zero walks. Duffy will look to keep this strong stretch going in his next start Thursday against the Mariners.
