Daniel Hudson has been diagnosed with right forearm tightness.
Hudson appeared to mention his elbow when confronted by trainers on the mound, and forearm tightness is often a precursor to an elbow injury. Either way, it's bad news for a D'Backs team that can't afford any injuries as they try to chase down the Dodgers and Giants. If he has to miss significant time, we won't if the team will consider giving Tyler Skaggs a shot.

Daniel Hudson left Tuesday's start in the second inning with an apparent injury.
It appeared that Hudson said something about his elbow to manager Kirk Gibson on the mound, but we should have clarity on the situation soon. Hudson is also just six starts removed from a shoulder injury. He allowed five runs on seven hits over just 1 2/3 innings against the Braves before exiting.

Daniel Hudson was pounded for six runs in 1 2/3 innings by the A's on Friday.
Hudson was decent enough in his first two starts back from the DL, but the A's had his number tonight, pounding out eight hits against him. Hope it's just an aberration and that he bounces back against the Rangers next time out.

Daniel Hudson yielded two runs in five innings against the Brewers in his return from the DL on Saturday.
Hudson appeared to injure his left leg in the game. He stayed in afterwards, but it might have contributed to his removal after 83 pitches. Or it might not have, considering this was his first start back. Hudson allowed six hits, walked one and struck out three today. He wasn't involved in the decision.

Diamondbacks activated RHP Daniel Hudson from the 15-day disabled list.
He'll get the ball Sunday against the Brewers. Hudson allowed two runs over five innings Monday in his lone rehab start and doesn't appear to be under any strict pitch count. Feel free to activate him in fantasy leagues.

Daniel Hudson (shoulder) faced live hitters Friday for the first time since being placed on the disabled list last month.
Hudson threw two sets of 15 pitches with a five-minute break in between. He'll likely need to throw to hitters a couple more times before the D-Backs consider sending him out on a minor league rehab assignment. Barring any setbacks, he should come off the disabled list by the end of the month.

Daniel Hudson (shoulder) is scheduled to throw 35-40 pitches in a bullpen session Tuesday.
It will be his first bullpen session since being place on the disabled list on April 19 with a right shoulder impingement. Diamondbacks manager Kirk Gibson said that Hudson could return by the end of the month "if everything goes good." The 24-year-old right-hander had a 6.00 ERA over his first three starts prior to the injury.

Daniel Hudson (shoulder) is scheduled to hasten the pace of his throwing program this week.
If all goes well, Hudson should be cleared to begin throwing off a mound when the Diamondbacks return from their 10-game road trip on Monday. The 25-year-old right-hander has been on the disabled list since April 19 with a right shoulder impingement. He's on track to return around by the end of May.
