Daniel Hudson (shoulder) faced live hitters Friday for the first time since being placed on the disabled list last month. Hudson threw two sets of 15 pitches with a five-minute break in between. He'll likely need to throw to hitters a couple more times before the D-Backs consider sending him out on a minor league rehab assignment. Barring any setbacks, he should come off the disabled list by the end of the month.
