Daniel Hudson (shoulder) is scheduled to throw 35-40 pitches in a bullpen session Tuesday. It will be his first bullpen session since being place on the disabled list on April 19 with a right shoulder impingement. Diamondbacks manager Kirk Gibson said that Hudson could return by the end of the month "if everything goes good." The 24-year-old right-hander had a 6.00 ERA over his first three starts prior to the injury.
