Coco Crisp (inner ear problem) will not resume baseball activities until Friday. Crisp sat out for the sixth time in seven days on Tuesday as he continues to deal with an inner ear condition. It sounds like they jumped the gun by having him play on Monday, but A's manager Bob Melvin suggested that he's getting close to being back to normal.

Coco Crisp is not in Tuesday's lineup after experiencing a recurrence of his inner ear issues. Crisp returned to action Monday after missing nearly a week of action, but he was feeling nauseous after the game, so he's sitting out again. In hindsight, the A's probably wish they would have just put him on the DL, but for now he should be considered day-to-day.

Coco Crisp will play a few innings Wednesday in a minor league game. Crisp was scratched from Wednesday's Cactus League lineup, but there's no cause for concern. The 32-year-old will begin the season as the A's starting left fielder.
