Coco Crisp walked off Oakland Sunday, propelling the A's to a 5-4 victory and four-game home sweep of the Yankees by singling home Derek Norris in the 12th inning. The A's have won five in a row, and are now a stunning 14-2 in the month of July. Crisp finished his day 2-for-3 with a steal after entering as a pinch-hitter in the eighth. The swipe was his 19th of the season. He's hitting .248/.309/.331.

Coco Crisp had three hits Thursday to raise his average to .242. Crisp missed a few games after the break with a sore left shoulder, but he's now had multiple hits in five of his last eight starts to up his average 25 points. Mixed leaguers in need of steals could give him a try.

An MRI on Coco Crisp's left shoulder revealed no structural damage. Crisp will take part in on-field activities Tuesday before being re-evaluated Wednesday. He won't need a trip to the disabled list, but it's unclear at this point when he'll return to the lineup.

Coco Crisp will have his ailing left shoulder checked out by the doctor Monday. The A's will have a better idea at that point whether a trip to the disabled list might be required. Crisp suffered the injury while swinging the bat in Friday and has sat out the next two contests.

Coco Crisp (shoulder) is not in the A's lineup Saturday. Crisp suffered a left shoulder injury while swinging the bat in Friday's game, and was seen with a big wrap on the shoulder in the A's clubhouse afterward. At this point, it doesn't look like he'll need a trip to the disabled list, but it's very possible that he rests Sunday as well.

Coco Crisp went 2-for-4 with a home run and a game-winning sacrifice fly to help the A's come from behind to beat the Red Sox 3-2 on Tuesday. Between the second and eighth innings, Crisp didn't do much. But he led off the bottom of the first with a solo homer off Jon Lester, putting Oakland on top 1-0. With one out in the bottom of ninth and the score tied 2-2, Crisp smacked a sac fly off Alfredo Aceves to send Oakland to its 40th win. Crisp has been pretty awful this season, posting a .223/.291/.302 slash line. To be fair, he's played better since the beginning of June and, as always, provides speed. He still has the ability to be useful in mixed leagues.

Coco Crisp was ejected from Saturday's game against the Giants for arguing balls and strikes. The argument stemmed from Friday night's game, in which Crisp also took issue with an inconsistent strike zone. He was 2-for-4 with a run Saturday before exiting.

Athletics activate OF Coco Crisp from the 15-day disabled list. Crisp will bat second and start in center field Monday against the Angels. The 32-year-old has been sidelined since early May with the flu and an inner ear infection. He's hitting just .194/.260/.209 in 73 plate appearances this year.

Athletics manager Bob Melvin said there's a "decent" chance Coco Crisp (ear) will be activated from the disabled list Monday. Crisp was to take a full round of batting practice Sunday before the A's made a determination on his status, so evidently things went pretty well. The 32-year-old has been on the DL since early May with an inner-ear infection that caused dizziness.
