Updating an earlier item, C.J. Wilson was removed from Sunday's game due to a blister on his pitching hand.
This presumably contributed to his Wilson's control issues, as well. Wilson walked six and threw just 45 of his 88 pitches for strikes. It's possible he could miss his next start. We'll know more when the Angels update his status.

C.J. Wilson will start Saturday against the Rangers after his outing on Friday was cut short due to a rain delay.
That's right, Wilson will get another crack against his former team this weekend. The southpaw threw 22 pitches over one-third of an inning Friday before a two-hour rain delay ended his night, so he should have plenty of bullets left. There was some speculation that Jered Weaver would move up a day in the rotation, but he'll start as scheduled on Sunday.

C.J. Wilson limited the Twins to one run and three hits in seven innings to win Monday.
Wilson was in complete control today, giving 15 outs on the ground and five more via the strikeouts. Josh Willingham managed a solo homer in the fourth, but the Twins never really threatened otherwise. Wilson also looked good all spring, so don't be surprised to see him remain among the AL ERA leaders for at least the early portion of the season.

C.J. Wilson was fantastic against the Royals Tuesday, spinning five shutout innings on three hits while striking out five.
The new Halos left-hander has been phenomenal this spring, giving up just one run over 14 innings. He got his pitch count up to 75 Tuesday and looks to be ready to get the season underway. Wilson should be in line for a strong year with a move from Texas to Anaheim.
