Tillman will start Tuesday's Wild Card matchup against Toronto, Barry Davis of SportsNet reports.
EDGE Analysis
While Tillman fell off a bit over the season's second half, he still turned in a strong overall campaign, finishing 16-6 with a 3.77 ERA and 1.28 WHIP across 172 innings. The right-hander last pitched Wednesday in Toronto against these same Blue Jays, allowing six hits and one earned run over 5.2 innings. He's been shaky at Rogers Centre throughout his eight years in the major leagues, however, holding a career 2-6 record to go with a 7.01 ERA.

Tillman pitched 5.2 innings, allowing two runs (one earned) on six hits and three walks while striking out two Blue Jays in Wednesday's no-decision.
EDGE Analysis
In his final start of the regular season, the 28-year-old rebounded nicely from his previous outing, a 1.2-inning disaster against Boston. Overall, 2016 was a successful campaign for Tillman, who failed miserably to fulfill high expectations a year ago. This season, the righty tied his career high with 16 wins and enjoyed a career-best nine game winning streak that stretched across the first three months of the season. Tillman went 13-1 over 17 starts from April 27 to July 21. He stumbled a bit down the stretch, but that didn't subtract from his outstanding campaign and the critical role he played in Baltimore's success this year.

Tillman is scheduled to make his next start Wednesday against Toronto, Rich Dubroff of CSN Mid Atlantic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Orioles announced Kevin Gausman (ribs) will take the hill Tuesday, while Tillman gets the nod Wednesday evening. Tillman last started Thursday against the Red Sox, lasting only 1.2 innings and conceding three earned runs on five hits.

Tillman didn't last long Thursday against Boston, giving up three runs on five hits and three walks in just 1.2 innings.
EDGE Analysis
Considering Tillman registered well more baserunners (eight) than outs (five), he's fortunate to have escaped with only three runs and no loss on his line. His final start of the regular season will come next week against Toronto, wrapping up an inconsistent and injury-shortened campaign in which he's nonetheless tied his career high in wins with 16.

Tillman (16-6) allowed three runs on four hits, struck out six and walked one over 5.2 innings in a loss to the Rays on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The Orioles spotted Tillman a 2-0 lead, but he wasn't able to hold it. Evan Longoria's solo blast tied it in the sixth, and the Rays scored again later in the frame to take the lead. Due to the loss, Tillman remains tied with David Price, Chris Sale and Hisashi Iwakuma for fourth in the American League in wins. Tillman is 16-6 with a 3.72 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 136 strikeouts in 164.2 innings.

Tillman (16-5) allowed just one run on four hits and a walk over six innings in Sunday's win over the Tigers, striking out four.
EDGE Analysis
It was a triumphant return from the DL for the 28-year-old righty, who outdueled Justin Verlander to keep the Orioles two games clear of the Tigers for a wild card spot. Tillman will next take the mound Saturday in a home matchup against the Rays.

The Orioles activated Tillman (shoulder) from the disabled list Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Tillman is set to return to action after missing three weeks with his shoulder injury. He will jump right back into the Orioles' rotation and start Sunday versus the Tigers, a team he shut out over seven innings and picked up a victory against last time the two sides squared off May 13.

Tillman (shoulder) remains on track to start Sunday against Justin Verlander and the Tigers, MASN's Roch Kubatko reports.
EDGE Analysis
He will throw a bullpen session Friday and barring a setback, he will come off the DL to start Sunday in a tough matchup against Verlander and the Tigers. The Orioles are temporarily slated to use a six-man rotation next week as the team evaluates Wade Miley and Ubaldo Jimenez, which will afford Tillman a little extra rest in between starts in the short term.

Tillman (shoulder) completed a bullpen session Sunday, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Tillman is set to fly with the Orioles to Tampa Bay for their series with the Rays that begins Monday and is remains lined up to return from the DL on Sept. 11 against the Tigers. He'll likely progress to facing hitters during batting practice this week before the Orioles' medical staff signs off on his activation.

Tillman (shoulder) is on track to rejoin the Orioles' rotation Sept. 11, MLB.com's Brittany Ghiroli reports.
EDGE Analysis
Tillman is planning to throw a bullpen session at some point this weekend, and if all goes well during that session, he will likely be scheduled for either another mound session or a rehab outing early next week. That would likely be the final hurdle Tillman would need to clear before he is cleared to be activated from the disabled list.
