Tillman (shoulder) is set to resume his throwing program Wednesday, Eduardo Encina of the Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Tillman's shoulder issue has been one of the major story lines of the spring for the Orioles after he received a platelet-rich plasma injection in December and experienced a setback prior to a bullpen session last week. He was given a cortisone injection Wednesday and the plan is to have him resume throwing a week from that date. If all goes well, the Orioles plan to have him throw another long toss session Friday.

Tillman (shoulder) said he feels good Friday after receiving a cortisone shot Wednesday, Jon Meoli of The Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Tillman was expected to debut in this year's Grapefruit League action recently, but he pushed back some bullpen sessions due to possible side effects from antibiotics that caused soreness. "The ones I completed before, I was feeling fine," Tillman said. "I felt completely fine. And then when I went to warm up for that bullpen that didn't happen, I just didn't feel comfortable. If we're sitting here in June and July, I'm probably pitching. But at the same time, we're talking spring training here. It's just not worth it to me." If he continues to feel better, Tillman could be ready for regular-season games early in April, but fantasy owners are wise to bid with caution in mind.

Tillman (shoulder) will likely be shut down for the next two or three days while he waits for his cortisone shot to take full effect, Eduardo Encina of the Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
After experiencing discomfort in his throwing shoulder prior to his scheduled bullpen session Sunday, Tillman received an injection to help reduce some of the pain, and the Orioles are hopeful it will help speed up his recovery. If all goes according to plan, Tillman will be able to resume throwing by the conclusion of the weekend, but his chances of being ready for Opening Day are still in some peril.

Tillman (shoulder) will wait to see how he feels in a few days before the team decides how to move forward with his rehabilitation process, Roch Kubatko of MASN reports.
EDGE Analysis
There had been some optimism earlier in the week that Tillman was nearing a full recovery, but that hope was slashed when he was forced to cancel Sunday's bullpen session due to still feeling discomfort. Depending on how his shoulder responds, the 28-year-old could be in a for cortisone shot. At this point, Tillman's chances at being ready for Opening Day are not encouraging.

Tillman made just 10 warm-up throws this morning before shoulder discomfort scrapped his scheduled bullpen, Jon Meoli of the Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Tillman never made it to the mound this morning for his bullpen session and it's becoming more likely that he'll begin 2017 on the disabled list. Baltimore Ravens head orthopedic surgeon Dr. Lee Ann Curl was checking on Tillman at the Ed Smith Stadium complex after the right-hander felt discomfort. The club will check on Tillman Monday and decide the next step.

Tillman (shoulder) has moved his bullpen session to Sunday as he recovers from an antibiotic that caused joint soreness, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's an important session for Tillman, as Manager Buck Showalter says it will result in an accelerated timetable if all goes well. The right-hander has been slowly rehabbing from shoulder bursitis this spring, though it appears he's still aiming for a return by Opening Day. Sunday should provide a better picture of Tillman's status.

Tillman will participate in a throwing session Saturday that manager Buck Showalter said could result in an accelerated timetable for his return if it goes well, Jon Meoli of the Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Tillman has been rehabbing all offseason from right shoulder bursitis that plagued him during the 2016 season. If he is able to get through Saturday's throwing session without any issues, it could be a sign that he may be able to return to the mound earlier than originally expected. Baltimore will be counting on Tillman once again to help anchor their starting rotation in 2017.

Manager Buck Showalter says Tillman (shoulder) had a productive bullpen session Wednesday, Jon Meoli of the Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is a great step in the recovery process for Tillman, but his status for Opening Day is still in question. Although Tuesday's performance marked another solid full-mound session, Showalter is unsure what the next step will be for the right-hander as the organization remains cautious in easing their ace back into action.

Tillman (shoulder) is scheduled to throw a full-mound bullpen session Wednesday, Jon Meoli of the Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
With this latest news, Tillman's shoulder rehab appears to still be progressing as planned. Recent reports indicated that he may see some innings in a Grapefruit League game, but his availability for Opening Day remains in question.

Tillman (shoulder) threw a successful bullpen on Sunday and he's not far from making his spring debut, Jon Meoli of the Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Tillman is right on schedule with his recovery from the shoulder ailment that nipped him in mid-February. Manager Buck Showalter is encouraged by his ace's progress, but is wary of setbacks. "We were trying not to jinx ourselves and get ahead of it," Showalter said. "It's the plan that we had. Everything's falling on the calendar that we put up three weeks ago or two weeks ago. He's right on schedule. It's going to be tough to withstand any setbacks, but if he stays on schedule, he's fine." It's beginning to sound like Tillman, who tied a career high with 16 wins last season, has a chance to be ready and make his fourth consecutive Opening Day.
