Tillman (shoulder) is scheduled to throw off a half mound Friday and a regular mound Monday, March 6, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander has chugged along in his rehab efforts. He threw a flat mound session Wednesday with no reported issues. However, the two-time 16-game winner remains highly questionable to be available for Opening Day because he may not build up enough innings before then. Tillman remains worth plucking in the late rounds of deep mixed leagues, but the soon-to-be 29-year-old may make owners wait for productivity.

Even with his encouraging progress, Tillman is still expected to miss Opening Day as he'll need to log more live innings before toeing a big league rubber.

Tillman (shoulder) is scheduled to throw off a flat mound for the first time this spring, Roch Kubatko of MASN reports.
EDGE Analysis
He was playing long toss late last week and throwing from a flat mound is just the next step in his throwing program. The 28-year-old is moving along, and it's good news that he hasn't had any recent setbacks, but it still expected that the he won't be ready in time for Opening Day. If all continues to go well, Tillman should be available sometime in early April.

Tillman has been Baltimore's opening day starter for three consecutive years, a run which will likely come to an end this April. Kevin Gausman is the frontrunner to receive the start this season.
