Chris Davis went 0-for-3 with three strikeouts in Tuesday's loss to the Red Sox. Brandon Workman and company did a number on the entire Orioles lineup, as Baltimore could only muster two hits on the night, but nobody wore it more than Davis. The first baseman struck out looking in the second, swinging in the fifth and again in the seventh. He's now struck out 63 times in 178 at-bats and is batting .230/.344/.421 as he's struggled to replicate his breakout 2013 season.

Chris Davis is expected to be away from the Orioles on Sunday and Monday for the birth of his child. Doctors will induce labor for his wife on Sunday if the baby doesn't arrive sooner. The Orioles will place Davis on the paternity leave list, which allows him to be away from the club for 24 to 72 hours.

Chris Davis went 4-for-5 with three home runs in Tuesday's win over the Pirates. Davis doubled his season home run total in one night. The blasts came off of Francisco Liriano in the fifth inning, Jared Hughes in the seventh, and Jeanmar Gomez in the ninth. He finished with five RBI, giving him 20 on the season, and the slugger now carries a .257/.376/.468 slash line. A slow start and oblique injury have made Davis a frustrating player for fantasy owners, but the hope is that Tuesday's performance is the start of something big.

Chris Davis went 2-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run as the Orioles defeated the Royals on Friday night. Davis has been getting on base at a high clip, but the power hasn't been there in the first month and a half, though he did miss some time with an oblique injury. He took Jeremy Guthrie deep in the eighth inning, padding the Orioles' lead to 4-0. Davis is now slashing .247/.370/.392 and fantasy owners hope that slugging percentage crosses the .400 threshold soon.

Orioles activated 1B Chris Davis from the 15-day disabled list. Davis needed just one rehab game to prove that he was ready to go. The slugger is off to a slow start this season with just two homers in his first 22 games, but obviously he needs to return to fantasy lineups immediately.
