Carlos Gonzalez is being listed as day-to-day with an upper back strain.
CarGo hurt himself on a swing in the fifth inning of Thursday's game against the Dodgers. The outfielder says he plans to play on Friday, but it wouldn't be a surprise if the Rockies decide to give him a day or two of rest.

Carlos Gonzalez (foot) went 4-for-4 with a solo home run, two runs scored, and a stolen base Friday against the Phillies.
CarGo was forced to leave Thursday's game after he was hit in the foot by a foul ball while standing in the on-deck circle, but it's safe to say that he's feeling just fine. The 27-year-old is now tied with Philadelphia's Domonic Brown for the NL lead with 19 homers.

Carlos Gonzalez has been diagnosed with a bruised left foot and is considered day-to-day.
Gonzalez was struck on the foot Thursday by a Jordan Pacheco foul ball and removed from the Rockies' game against the Nationals before even taking an at-bat. X-rays were taken immediately and came back negative. CarGo owners can go ahead and breathe a big sigh of relief.

Carlos Gonzalez was pulled from Thursday's game vs. the Nationals after taking a foul ball off his left ankle.
Jordan Pacheco was batting and Gonzalez was standing in the on-deck circle when a foul tip drilled Gonzalez. He was able to walk off under his own power so the ankle is probably not broken, but a bad bruise could cause CarGo to miss a few games. He entered play Thursday batting .299/.375/.618 with 18 home runs and 52 RBI.

Carlos Gonzalez has revealed that he has dealt with left knee tendinitis since spring training.
It turns out that that's why he was removed from Friday's game, not because he twisted the knee as previously reported. Obviously the knee isn't a big concern, as CarGo returned to action on Saturday and he has been incredibly productive this season, hitting .304/.384/.616 with 17 homers, 45 RBI and 12 steals. Still, it's something to file away.
