Carlos Gonzalez (knee) is in the Rockies' starting lineup on Saturday night against the Padres. Gonzalez twisted his knee awkwardly Friday during a sixth-inning at-bat and was removed from the game. He also had knee troubles this spring but the Rockies are going to let their star outfielder play through the discomfort. CarGo is on pace for 44 home runs and 118 RBI.

Carlos Gonzalez was removed Friday night's game with a left knee injury. Gonzalez twisted his left knee while batting in the sixth inning and is considered day-to-day. It's the same injury he dealt with in spring training, so a trip to the disabled list can't be ruled out. He was seen limping badly following the game, but said that he plans to be in the lineup Saturday. Jonathan Herrera would likely start in left field if Gonzalez isn't able to return.

Carlos Gonzalez was removed from Friday's game in the seventh inning due to an apparent ankle injury. Gonzalez appeared to turn his ankle while batting in the sixth inning and was replaced by Jonathan Herrera when the Rockies took the field in the seventh. Prior to that point, the superstar outfielder had gone 2-for-3 with a pair of triples, two runs scored and two RBI. The team will surely release an update on his status after the game.

Carlos Gonzalez hit three home runs, driving in six, to lead the Rockies to a 12-4 victory over the Reds on Wednesday. The blasts were CarGo's 15th, 16th and 17th of the year, raising his line to a remarkable .313/.393/.625 on the season. With his huge night, Gonzalez is behind only Domonic Brown in the National League among home run leaders. He also has 12 stolen bases through 58 games. Gonzalez is a true 5-category contributor.

Carlos Gonzalez went 2-for-3 with two walks, three steals and two runs scored against the Astros on Thursday. Gonzalez is a perfect 12-for-12 stealing bases this year, giving him extra fantasy value to go along with .309 average, 13 HR, 34 RBI and 44 runs scored. Gonzalez is on pace to finish with his first 30 HR-30 SB season if he can stay healthy. He hit 34 homers back in 2010, but he's never swiped 30 bases (high of 26, also from 2010).

Carlos Gonzalez homered and tripled Wednesday in the Rockies' 5-1 win over the Diamondbacks. The starting outfield for the NL All-Star team is going to be awfully interesting. Bryce Harper and Justin Upton would seem to have great shots of being voted in as starters, which would leave just one spot for Gonzalez, Ryan Braun, Andrew McCutchen and a handful of other strong candidates. Gonzalez is hitting .302 with 11 homers and eight steals in eight attempts. He's also on pace to smash his career high in walks with 26 in 45 games so far.

Carlos Gonzalez had two homers among his five hits as the Rockies beat the Cubs 9-4 on Tuesday. CarGo's two solo shots gave him nine homers on the year. He also added a double and two singles for good measure, raising his season average to .312. He often gets overlooked in the discussion of best fantasy outfielders, but Gonzalez is a star. The fact that he plays in Coors Field is just the cherry on top.

Carlos Gonzalez went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts in Saturday's loss to the Cardinals. CarGo is now 3-for-22 with 10 strikeouts over his last six games. Even with the recent funk, he has a fine .288/.364/.530 batting line to go along with seven homers, 19 RBI and an .895 OPS. We expect him to bust out again soon.

Carlos Gonzalez doubled twice, knocked in two runs and walked twice in the Rockies' 7-3 win over the Dodgers on Wednesday. The top six hitters in Colorado's lineup tonight -- Eric Young Jr., Dexter Fowler, Gonzalez, Troy Tulowitzki, Michael Cuddyer and Wilin Rosario -- all ended the game with averages over .300. Gonzalez ended up going 6-for-11 with a homer, three doubles and four walks in the series against the Dodgers. He scored just once after reaching four times tonight, but that gave him 23 runs in 26 games this season.
