Carlos Gonzalez is not in the Rockies starting lineup on Friday. Gonzalez suffered an upper back strain on a swing during the fifth inning of Thursday's contest against the Dodgers and is being considered day-to-day. He's expected to rejoin the lineup before the end of the weekend series in Arizona.
