Carlos Gonzalez went 3-for-5 with an RBI single and two runs scored in a win over the Mets on Thursday. The Rockies pounded out a season-high 17 hits in the victory. CarGo has 11 hits in his last 21 at-bats, pulling his batting average up from .289 to .400 in the process. He should be an elite fantasy outfielder this season if he can stay on the field.

Carlos Gonzalez launched a mammoth solo homer in Monday's loss to the Giants. The third-inning longball cleared the right-field bleachers, took one bounce and landed in McCovey Cove. CarGo now has three dingers on the young season to go along with a .345 batting mark. He should be a top-five fantasy outfielder this season.

Carlos Gonzalez hit his second home run in as many days as the Rockies beat the Brewers 8-4 on Tuesday. Gonzalez, 27, is one of the best all-around fantasy commodities these days, and his early power surge is promising for owners worried about his production away from Coors Field. CarGo is a five-category contributor in a great home ballpark and he's also in the prime of his career. So 2013 could be a huge year for the Rockies superstar. Troy Tulowitzki also homered Tuesday for the second time in as many games.

Carlos Gonzalez left Monday's Cactus League game in the fourth inning due to allergies. In other words, he should be fine. CarGo comes with injury concerns, but there's little doubt that he offers first-round potential in fantasy leagues.

Carlos Gonzalez smashed his second home run of the spring on Friday in a losing effort against the Giants. He finished the afternoon 2-for-3 with a run scored and a pair of RBI. His two-run blast came courtesy of Chris Heston in the first inning. After a slow start, he's now hitting .241 (7-for-29) with a pair of homers, eight RBI and a steal. Despite his penchant for injuries, CarGo remains one of the truly elite outfielders in the fantasy game, and a dynamic five-category contributor.

Carlos Gonzalez homered and drove home three runs on Friday, powering the Rockies to a 5-2 victory over the Brewers. He finished the afternoon 2-for-3, adding a double. The dynamic outfielder is entering his age-27 season fully healthy, and could be in line for a huge season. While he certainly carries significant injury risk, his talent and upside make him one of the truly elite options in the first round of fantasy drafts.

Carlos Gonzalez (hamstring) ran Friday, but is not ready to return to the starting lineup. Gonzalez hasn't played since September 23 due to a strained left hamstring. It's possible he will miss the final six games of season.

Carlos Gonzalez (hamstring) could be shut down for the rest of the season. Gonzalez underwent an MRI on his left hamstring Monday which revealed inflammation behind his knee. He isn't ready to give up on the season, but won't play again until the pain subsides. "I don't know if I will be able to play again," said Gonzalez. "It's a tough spot. I want to. I don't want to end like last year where I miss a bunch of games at the end. But it has to get better."

Carlos Gonzalez will undergo an MRI on his left hamstring Monday. CarGo has appeared as a pinch-hitter each of the past two days, but still appears to be favoring the leg. It's possible the Rockies may decide to shut him down for the rest of the season.
