Gonzalez -- who is not in Sunday's lineup against the Padres -- is dealing with an injured shoulder, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The specifics of the shoulder injury have not been revealed, but manager Bud Black reported that Gonzalez suffered the injury while attempting a diving catch during Saturday's game. Without knowing more about the injury, it's difficult to estimate how long the right fielder could be sidelined for, so he should simply be considered day-to-day for the time being.

Gonzalez is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gonzalez is slashing a ridiculous .328/.461/.705 during the month of September, but has come up hitless in the first three games of the Rockies' series against the Padres. Manager Bud Black will give the veteran right fielder the day off with Gerardo Parra filling in at right field, with Ian Desmond in left and Mark Reynolds joining the lineup at first base.

Gonzalez is not in the lineup against the Giants on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Gonzalez retreats to the bench for the series finale following nine consecutive games in the starting lineup. Over that span, he's slashed .323/.417/.710 with three home runs and six RBI. In his place, Gerardo Parra draws the start in right while Ian Desmond gets the assignment in left.

Gonzalez went 3-for-4 with a solo home run, two RBI and two runs during Saturday's win over San Diego.
EDGE Analysis
This was the veteran's fifth homer through his past nine games, and he also has eight RBI and 10 runs during the stretch. It's been a long time coming for Gonzalez, but he appears to have found a groove of late. Considering how poorly he hit earlier this season, it's worth checking waiver wires to see if Gonzalez is available. It's also worth noting that Colorado finishes the season with six consecutive games at hitter-friendly Coors Field.

Gonzalez went 2-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
Gonzalez provided all the offense for his team in this key road win over a division rival, launching two-run homers in third and seventh innings. This powerful display from the once feared slugger was a pleasant surprise, as he came in batting only .210 away from Coors Field. The 31-year-old Gonzalez has just 12 home runs after launching 25 last year and 40 in 2015, but will remain an integral part of Colorado's offense as the team looks to lock down a playoff berth down the stretch.

Gonzalez went 3-for-5 with a home run and two runs scored in Thursday's win over the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
The home run was just Gonzalez's third of the second half and ninth of the campaign. His production has fallen off a cliff in his age-31 season, but Gonzalez has recorded multiple hits in three of his last six games and he's nearly matched his walk total from all of August already in September.

Gonzalez (ankle) is in Wednesday's lineup against the Tigers, Max Gelman of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gonzalez was out of the lineup for the past two games with a sore left ankle, but was able to come in as a pinch hitter during Tuesday's game, and is healthy enough to earn a spot in the starting nine for Wednesday's series finale. With a scheduled off day coming Thursday, the 31-year-old will get an another day to rest up prior to a big series against Arizona. Since July 18, Gonzalez is hitting .294/.338/.420 with two home runs and 19 RBI in 34 games.

Gonzalez (ankle) is out of the lineup Tuesday against the Tigers, Jenny Cavnar of AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Rockies haven't suggested that Gonzalez's sore left ankle is a major concern, but there won't be a need to rush him back to action after the team received a boost in the outfield Monday with Ian Desmond's (calf) return from the disabled list. When all three are at full strength, it looks like one of Desmond, Gerardo Parra and Gonzalez will be forced to hit the bench for any given contest, as All-Star Charlie Blackmon is probably the only Rockies outfielder that's guaranteed an everyday role.

Gonzalez was scratched from Monday night's game with a sore left ankle.
EDGE Analysis
Gonzalez was seen limping around the dugout and talking to trainers during team warm ups. He was still on his feet, so it's unclear how sever the injury is. Consider him day-to-day until the trainers get a full look at him.
