Gonzalez is not in the lineup Saturday against the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
Gonzalez has struggled all season, and recent games have been no exception. Over Colorado's last four contests he's gone just 1-for-14 (.071) and struck out five times. With Gonzalez out, Gerardo Parra will move to right field while Pat Valaika patrols left.

Gonzalez is not in the Rockies' Thursday lineup, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
In August, the outfielder has been showing fleeting signs of breaking out of his near season-long lull, but he'll have to wait at least until a pinch-hit appearance to keep trying to move forward. Gonzalez should rejoin the starting nine Friday at home against the Brewers' Zach Davies.

Gonzalez went 2-for-3 with two RBI and a stolen base during Monday's win over Atlanta.
EDGE Analysis
2017 has been a disastrous fantasy campaign for Gonzalez. The veteran owns a disappointing .236/.303/.347 slash line with just seven home runs, 37 RBI, three stolen bases and 45 RBI over 393 plate appearances. Considering he's played half his games at hitter-friendly Coors Field the statistical collapse is even more concerning. It's definitely worth noting that he's registered a hit in 19 of his past 21 games, though.

Gonzalez went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk in Wednesday's 10-5 loss to the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
Gonzalez's 439-foot blast put his team up 5-0 in the third inning, but it all went downhill from there. CarGo has started to show signs of life at the plate, as he's in the midst of a season-high 11-game hitting streak. The home run was his first since June 20 and the 31-year-old outfielder's slugging percentage still sits at a career-low .347.

Gonzalez is not in the lineup for the second game of Colorado's doubleheader with the Nationals on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
CarGo went just 1-for-5 with a run scored in the first game of the day, so he'll head to the bench for the nightcap. Raimel Tapia will move into right field to replace him.

Gonzalez went 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored in Saturday's win over the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
Saturday's contest marked the third start in a row that the veteran outfielder has collected a hit. Although that may seem somewhat insignificant, it's a step in the right direction for the slumping slugger, as it already raised his batting average eight points over the past week. Gonzalez has been the missing piece in the breakout season for Colorado, and if he can get things going, he could cement his spot in the order once again given that manager Bud Black likes to ride the hot hand whenever possible.

Gonzalez is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Padres, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gonzalez hasn't started in three of the past four games, indicating that manager Bud Black may be looking for alternative options to spark the Rockies' offense. The veteran lefty is muddled in the worst season his career at this point, hitting just .218 with six home runs and 69 strikeouts over 78 games. CarGo remains the primary left fielder for the time being, but Gerardo Parra, who is taking his spot Wednesday, provides a viable threat thanks to his blazing 1.339 OPS over the last eight games.

Gonzalez went 2-for-4 with a double, three RBI and a run against the Padres on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Insanely, that's as many RBI as the veteran slugger collected in his past 23 appearances put together -- a span in which he hit a brutal .139. At just 31 years old, it seems premature for CarGo to be toast, especially after he hit .290 while appearing in 150 games for the second straight season in 2016, but the thunder in his bat seems to have abandoned him almost entirely. It'll be hard to buy into a resurgence until we see him string several good games together.

Gonzalez is not in the lineup Monday against the Padres, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
This marks the second consecutive game in which the veteran outfielder will ride the pine. It's worth noting that this absence also comes with a right-hander taking the hill for San Diego. Gonzalez still seems to be clinging to an everyday role in Colorado, but given the Rockies' recent struggles, manager Bud Black may opt to roll with the players who are producing more in order to get the team back on track. For Monday, Gerardo Parra will take over in right field, although Raimel Tapia could also pick up more starts if Gonzalez continues to sit.

Gonzalez is out of the lineup Sunday against the Mets, Jenny Cavnar of AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gonzalez is still considered to be an everyday player despite his career-low .624 OPS this season, though the deep Colorado outfield could start to overtake reps if he isn't able to turn things around. That will be the case Sunday with lefty Steven Matz on the mound for New York, as the Rockies will welcome back Ian Desmond (calf) to left field, with Charlie Blackmon in center and Gerardo Parra in right.
