Carrasco lost Monday against the Royals as he pitched 7.1 innings and allowed two runs, seven hits and one walk to go along with nine strikeouts. Although Carrasco saw his record fall to 8-6 Monday, it was largely due to a lack of run support as he pitched very well yet again. He has established himself as a reliable fantasy option this season as he has a 2.64 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 130 strikeouts in 126.1 innings. He could be in for a big 2015 campaign.

Carrasco allowed four runs on seven hits, walking two and striking out five over 6.1 innings of a 7-2 loss to the Tigers on Friday night. Carassco (7-5, 2.86 ERA) has been a big plus in the Indians' playoff push but he wasn't at his best in this one. Down 3-0 heading into the seventh inning, the Tigers tacked on another run and the bullpen let the game get out of hand. He'll try to get back on track in his next start against the Astros in Houston.
