Carrasco (6-3) allowed two runs on four hits and one walk while striking out three over 6.2 innings to earn the win Friday at the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
The Indians broke open a 2-2 tie with a pair of runs in the sixth inning to help Carrasco earn his sixth win of the year. He's now held opponents to two or fewer earned runs in each of his last seven starts to lower his ERA to 2.49 on the season. He'll make his next start Wednesday at the Royals.

Carrasco (5-3) lasted just 3.2 innings Sunday, allowing five runs (one earned) on five hits and two walks while striking out four in a loss to the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
The Indians committed two errors behind him, adding to Carrasco's pitch count and eventually forcing him from the game after 81 pitches, but at least the shaky defense helped him avoid too much damage to his ERA. He got out of the game in the nick of time too, as the Yankees exploded for six runs in the top of the fifth inning. Carrasco will carry a career-best 2.47 ERA into the second half, but his 1.10 WHIP and 72:20 K:BB in 73 innings are a little off the pace he set in 2014-2015.

Carrasco (5-2) cruised to the victory in Tuesday's 12-1 game against the Tigers. He pitched six innings, allowing one run on three hits and three walks while striking out five.
EDGE Analysis
That makes three straight victories and five consecutive quality starts for Carrasco. His five strikeouts probably brought on some disappointment for owners, but the right-hander didn't need to do much more than pitch to contact with such a big lead in place. He'll take a 2.47 ERA into his next start Sunday against the Yankees.

Carrasco (4-2) shut down the Jays over 7.1 innings Thursday, allowing one run, three hits and two walks while striking out 14 in the win.
EDGE Analysis
Between the sixth and eighth innings, Carrasco registered six consecutive strikeouts. Eight of the right-hander's 14 strikeouts came via his signature split-changeup. He fell one short of his career high of 15 strikeouts that came on Sept. 25 last year against the Royals. Since returning from the DL, Carrasco has been great, posting a 2.91 ERA and 1.21 WHIP while striking out 29 in 34 innings.

Carrasco threw a complete-game, four-hit shutout in Saturday's 6-0 victory over the Tigers, surrendering only one walk and striking out seven.
EDGE Analysis
The talented righty has certainly endured his share of ups and downs this season, but Saturday's effort was a reminder of how dominant he can still be. Carrasco fired 82 of 117 pitches across the strike zone, and also induced 15 swinging strikes. The 29-year-old righty now has three straight quality starts, and has his ERA back down to a solid 2.73 after a couple of difficult outings earlier in June. He'll try to extend his stellar stretch on Thursday versus the Blue Jays.

Carrasco (2-2) gave up two runs on five hits and four walks over 7.1 innings Sunday, striking out six, but came away with a no-decision in an extra-inning win over the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
He and Carlos Rodon were in lock-step for the early part of the game, each giving up a single run in the first inning and solo homers in the fourth, but Carrasco at least got to see his team win it in the 10th. He threw 62 of 100 pitches for strikes including 17 swinging strikes, and now has a 3.96 ERA and 22:7 K:BB in 25 innings over four starts since coming off the DL. He'll look to get back in the win column in his next start at home against the Tigers on Saturday.

Carrasco (2-2) was a tough-luck loser on Monday against the Royals, holding Kansas City to two runs over six innings. He allowed 10 hits and walked one while striking out eight.
EDGE Analysis
Despite the 10 hits allowed, Monday's start was Carrasco's best since coming of the disabled list in early June. The righty has been impressive when on the field this season, striking out 36 compared to eight walks this season. He'll make his next start Sunday against the White Sox.

Carrasco (2-1) turned in a losing performance against the Mariners on Wednesday night. He lasted 6.2 innings, allowing four runs on five hits while walking one and striking out six.
EDGE Analysis
Except for two costly hanging sliders to Mariners No. 9 hitter Chris Iannetta, Carrasco (hamstring) said he felt good in his second start since coming off the disabled list. The right-hander kept most of Seattle's lineup in check throughout the night, limiting their No. 2-7 hitters to a combined 1-for-18. Owners of Carrasco can be encouraged by the fact he went 1.2 innings and 21 pitchers deeper than he did in his previous start, displaying increased stamina and health. In six starts this season (33.2 innings), the Venezuelan 29-year-old holds a 3.48 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 28:7 BB:K. He'll toe the rubber next against the Royals on Monday.

Carrasco went five innings Thursday against the Royals, in which he allowed three runs on nine hits and a walk while fanning two. He only threw 78 pitches.
EDGE Analysis
Carrasco's first start off the disabled list came with a short leash, as he didn't top the 80-pitch mark, and it also saw him allow a season-high total on hits with nine. Carrasco, however, limited the damage to only three runs, and even though his ERA rose to a very respectable 3.00 mark, he looked very good considering he hadn't pitched since April 24. He will look to do a better job in his next start against Seattle on the road Tuesday.

Carrasco (hamstring) has been activated off the disabled list and will start Thursday's game, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Carrasco hasn't pitched since April 24 and will be limited to around 80 pitches for Thursday's game. He made a rehab start Saturday at Double-A Akron and looked good in four innings of work. The Indians have optioned Mike Clevinger to Triple-A Columbus in order to make room for Carrasco.
