Carrasco (5-2) cruised to the victory in Tuesday's 12-1 game against the Tigers. He pitched six innings, allowing one run on three hits and three walks while striking out five.
EDGE Analysis
That makes three straight victories and five consecutive quality starts for Carrasco. His five strikeouts probably brought on some disappointment for owners, but the right-hander didn't need to do much more than pitch to contact with such a big lead in place. He'll take a 2.47 ERA into his next start Sunday against the Yankees.
