Phillips is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Mets, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Phillips was hit in the left hand by a pitch on Monday, and also fouled two balls off his left shin. Phillips underwent an X-ray on his left ring finger Monday night, and the results came back negative. Despite this, Phillips potentially has swelling and soreness still effecting his hand. De Jesus will replace him at second base and bat seventh against Met's starting pitcher Bartolo Colon. Phillips is still considered day-to-day.

X-ray results on Phillips' left ring finger came back negative following his early exit from Monday's game against the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
Despite receiving positive news, it's entirely possible for Phillips to miss time out of the lineup with potential swelling and soreness. If that happens, Ivan De Jesus is the most likely candidate to replace the veteran, since De Jesus also replaced Phillips on Monday.

Phillips finished 4-for-4 in Tuesday's game against the Rockies, scored a run, and finished a homer away from the cycle.
EDGE Analysis
Unfortunately, Phillips didn't bring much else to the table from a fantasy perspective, as all four of Phillips' hits came with the bases empty and he was caught in his only stolen base attempt. Still, fantasy owners have to love what they've seen from Phillips thus far in 2016, who raised his line to .333/.367/.511 with Tuesday's big game.

Phillips was 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI a walk and a run scored in Saturday's 9-8 victory over the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran infielder tied the game in the fifth inning with his first two-bagger of the day, and added a second double in the sixth that helped stake the Reds to an 8-4 lead by the end of the frame. Phillips has been contributing across multiple categories so far in 2016, collecting two doubles, a homer, six RBI, two walks and a pair of stolen bases, along with scoring five runs. He's hit safely in seven of his last eight games as well, and boosted his average back up over .300 (.303) with Saturday's output.

Phillips (illness) is back in the lineup Friday, batting cleanup.
EDGE Analysis
A stomach virus knocked Phillips out of the lineup for the past two days, but the veteran second baseman will be ready to go for Friday's matchup against the division rival Pirates. He'll serve as the cleanup hitter against Francisco Liriano, a pitcher he's had mixed results against in his career. In 37 at-bats against Liriano, Phillips has collected nine hits and two RBI wile racking up five strikeouts.

Phillips (illness) remains out of the lineup Thursday against the Phillies, MLB.com's Mark Sheldon reports.
EDGE Analysis
Phillips was a late scratch from Wednesday's lineup due to a stomach virus, so it's not too surprising to see him rested for a day game following an evening contest. Jordan Pacheco will man second base in his stead.

Phillips was scratched from Wednesday's lineup due to a stomach virus.
EDGE Analysis
He was in the original lineup, and then the Reds announced that Ivan De Jesus would man the keystone and hit seventh in his place. Consider Phillips day-to-day for now.

Phillips (neck) homered in his return to the lineup Friday.
EDGE Analysis
The long ball was the first of the spring for the veteran second baseman. Phillips is 12-for-36 with a homer and four RBI, and he remains on track to have a significant run-producing role for the Reds, perhaps hitting directly behind OBP machine Joey Votto.
