The A's also recalled Daniel Coulombe on Thursday, while optioning Zach Neal to Nashville and placing Sean Doolittle on the DL.

Triggs didn't factor into the decision against the Angels on Saturday, going only three innings and surrendering three hits and an earned run while also recording a strikeout.
