Lefty Jeffrey Springs was optioned to the clubs alternate site as a corresponding roster ...

Andrew Triggs To Have Thoracic Outlet Surgery rotoballer.com Tue 9/18/18 3:13 PM
Oakland Athletics starting pitcher Andrew Triggs (shoulder) will have thoracic outlet surgery on Sept. 26, and it will be performed by Dr. Gregory Pearl in Dallas, Texas. Triggs was 3-1 with a 5.23 ERA with 43 strikeouts in just nine starts for Oakland in 2018. The right-hander also finished the year on the disabled list in 2017. These types of surgeries are tough to come back from, so Triggs won't be a lock to contribute in 2019.
Andrew Triggs Likely To Begin Rehab Assignment This Week rotoballer.com Sun 9/2/18 3:40 PM
Oakland Athletics starting pitcher Andrew Triggs (arm) is likely to go on a rehab assignment with High-A Stockton this week. Triggs has been out since May 17 and had an ERA above 5.00 in his nine starts before his injury. The right-hander really won't be much of a fantasy option if he becomes an option for the rotation to close out the year.
Andrew Triggs To Throw Sim Game Saturday rotoballer.com Sat 9/1/18 9:09 AM
Oakland Athletics starting pitcher Andrew Triggs (arm) is scheduled to throw a simulated game on Saturday. The goal is for him to be available in relief at some point in September. Triggs last started in the big leagues on May 17 against the Blue Jays. He is 3-1 on the year with a 5.23 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and career-high 9.4 K/9. However, he won't be a fantasy option again for the rest of the season if he pitches in relief.
Andrew Triggs Resumes Throwing Tuesday rotoballer.com Wed 8/1/18 6:55 PM
Oakland Athletics starting pitcher Andrew Triggs (arm) resumed throwing on Tuesday after being shut down for more than a month. He has been out with nerve irritation in his right arm since Triggs hasn't pitched in a game since May 17 and isn't close to a return. He had a 5.23 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and career-high 9.4 K/9 in nine starts before going down, but you shouldn't expect him to contribute much, if at all, from here on out.
No Structural Damage in Andrew Triggs' Arm rotoballer.com Wed 7/4/18 10:00 AM
Oakland Athletics starter Andrew Triggs (arm) received some good news on Tuesday afternoon. After visiting a specialist, he was assured that the nerve problem in his forearm was not structural in nature. He will be shut down for the next 10 to 14 days before he's re-evaluated. Even with this news, Triggs still lacks fantasy relevance. He carries an ugly 5.23 ERA and 1.33 WHIP through 41 1/3 innings on the season. He belongs on the waiver wire.
Andrew Triggs' Rehab Stalled rotoballer.com Sat 6/23/18 1:25 PM
Oakland Athletics starting pitcher Andrew Triggs (forearm) was shut down from his rehab process, according to Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle. The Athletics are in serious need of starting pitching depth. However, Triggs is not an option for your fantasy league.
