Miller will continue to see save opportunities as manager Terry Francona aims to limit the left-hander's workload for a bit, Paul Hoynes of Cleveland.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Francona wants Miller and closer Cody Allen to share a similar workload this season. Entering Wednesday, the former has logged 10 more frames than the latter. "When they both have to pitch, there are going to be times Cody might go ahead of him because Andrew has carried such a workload that I'd like to see Cody shoulder that for a little bit," the skipper said. With a ninth-inning arm not always needed, moving Miller to that role would afford him some extra rest. Unfortunately for fantasy owners, figuring out how Francona moves his pieces won't be easy. What's most important will be to identify if one of the two emerges as the best option to close out games in the second half of 2017.

Miller pitched a scoreless ninth inning to record his second save of the season during Saturday's win over Detroit.
EDGE Analysis
Cody Allen had allowed four runs over four innings through his past four appearances, which included two losses, so manager Terry Francona turned to Miller in the ninth Saturday. Allen did pitch a scoreless eighth frame, though, and there is no guarantee that he won't return to ninth-inning duty immediately or in the near future. Still, Miller's already a high-end fantasy asset without save opportunities, so if he's in line for even the occasional chance to close out a game, his value climbs even higher.

Miller struck out four and didn't allow a hit or a walk in 1.2 innings during Wednesday's win against Texas.
EDGE Analysis
Meanwhile, Cody Allen recorded a save in the game, but not before making things interesting by giving up a leadoff home run and allowing another run later in the inning. In his last four innings, he has now allowed three home runs and four runs. At the moment, no change in closer seems to be coming soon for the Indians, but it is a situation that both owners of Allen and Miller should keep an eye on moving forward.

Miller came on in the ninth inning of Thursday's win over the Orioles and allowed one run while also fanning three batters.
EDGE Analysis
The southpaw allowed a leadoff walk which led to an RBI double from Manny Machado, but Miller quickly shook it off to retire Jonathan Schoop and Mark Trumbo to secure the win for Cleveland. Still, Miller has set such a high standard for himself that it's surprising when he allows a base runner, let alone an earned run. With Cody Allen on the paternity list, Miller could be the Indians' primary closing option for the next two games, which ups his save potential for a brief window.

Miller struck out three batters without allowing a baserunner through two scoreless innings during Wednesday's win over Baltimore.
EDGE Analysis
While fantasy owners would love to see more than three wins and just a single save in Miller's stat line, his 1.43 ERA, 0.72 WHIP and 12.9 K/9 are still elite marks. He's worth a roster spot in all settings and would probably be next in line for saves if Cody Allen is injured or pitches his way out of the closer job.

Miller recorded his first save of the season Sunday against the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
Miller needed just 15 pitches to get through the ninth and lock down the game for the Indians. Of course, this was an abnormal scenario for Cleveland, with manager Terry Francona opting to use Cody Allen, who usually closes games (15 saves this season), in the eighth, which is when Miller usually fulfills his setup role. It will be interesting to see if Francona rolls with this new formula going forward, since Miller would inevitably eat up the team's saves.

Miller was tagged with his first loss of the year Tuesday after allowing a run on two hits while striking out a pair over 1.2 innings against the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
The left-hander stood tall on the mound during parts of the sixth, seven, and eighth innings. Cody Bellinger hit a solo home run that buckled Miller's night in the eighth inning with the score locked 2-2. The rookie's shot was the first home run Miller had given up all season, and it ended the reliever's 11-game streak of not allowing an earned run. Tuesday was nothing more than a blip on the radar screen, and owners can push forward with full confidence that Miller will begin a new stretch of dominance in his next out.

Miller struck out all three batters he faced in Sunday's win against Kansas City.
EDGE Analysis
Although the game was in hand, manager Terry Francona called on Miller since the left-hander hadn't pitched since Tuesday. Through 24 games, the 32-year-old has allowed just one earned run over 27.1 innings (0.33 ERA) while amassing a ridiculous 13.2 K/9 this season.

Miller struck out three in a perfect inning for his 12th hold of the year in Monday's 5-3 win over the Athletics.
EDGE Analysis
Miller is the best non-closer in baseball and continued his dominance Monday. He's posting better numbers than closer Cody Allen, but skipper Terry Francona remains content using the overpowering lefty as the eighth-inning setup man. Miller has allowed one run in 26 innings and sports an elite 36:5 K:BB for a microscopic 0.35 ERA. Continue to enjoy his excellent numbers.

Miller pitched the eighth inning and struck out one en route to picking up the win Saturday against the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
The left-hander has been impossible to score a run on -- literally. Miller owns a perfect 0.00 ERA through 14.2 innings this season. Over 12 appearances, the shut-down setup man owns a sparkling 21:4 BB:K and 0.82 WHIP. Unlike early in 2016, Miller's role has stayed consistent this year -- he exclusively ensures the Tribe holds any lead going into the final frame. The team's closer, Cody Allen, is off to a hot start, too, and won April's AL Reliever of the Month, so Miller's services in ninth inning are not needed as it stands now. That said, the 31-year-old veteran has picked up two wins and six holds thus far in 2017.
