Miller pitched the eighth inning and struck out one en route to picking up the win Saturday against the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
The left-hander has been impossible to score a run on -- literally. Miller owns a perfect 0.00 ERA through 14.2 innings this season. Over 12 appearances, the shut-down setup man owns a sparkling 21:4 BB:K and 0.82 WHIP. Unlike early in 2016, Miller's role has stayed consistent this year -- he exclusively ensures the Tribe holds any lead going into the final frame. The team's closer, Cody Allen, is off to a hot start, too, and won April's AL Reliever of the Month, so Miller's services in ninth inning are not needed as it stands now. That said, the 31-year-old veteran has picked up two wins and six holds thus far in 2017.
