According to Dan Connolly of the Baltimore Sun, the Orioles turned down an offer from the Braves for Adam Jones earlier this month.
The Braves reportedly offered Martin Prado, Jair Jurrjens and a pitching prospect, but it apparently wasn't enough to pry Jones away. The 26-year-old center fielder earned $3.25 million this season while batting .280/.319/.466 with 25 home runs, 83 RBI, 12 stolen bases and a .785 OPS. His salary could approach $6 million in his second year of arbitration. Connolly doesn't expect the O's to move Jones unless they get a frontline starting pitcher in return.

Steve Melewski of MASNSports.com reports that that Orioles are willing to listen to offers for outfielder Adam Jones.
Jon Paul Morosi of FOXSports.com says that the O's are telling teams Jones is "off limits," but you'd have to think they would at least entertain offers to see what's out there. Jones would be a fit for the Nationals or any number of teams seeking an upgrade in center field.

The Orioles could be looking to extend Adam Jones, according to Steve Melewski of MASN.com.
"I think that we should build around players like Adam Jones,'' VP of baseball operations Dan Duquette said. ''I'm looking forward to meeting him and I've enjoyed watching him play for a couple of years and hopefully we can watch him play here and be part of winning teams." Jones has recently surfaced as a popular name in trade talks that would bring a sizeable return for the Orioles if they were to put him on the market, but Duquette appears to view him as a long term player. A decision on his status with the team is not considered to be forthcoming.

Adam Jones went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in Thursday's win over the Tigers.
He also stole his 12th base of the season. Jones had been nursing a thumb injury of late, but he's picked up six hits in 12 at-bats in his three games since returning to the lineup, so it appears everything is back to normal. He's batting .284/.324/.470 for the year.
