The Orioles could be looking to extend Adam Jones, according to Steve Melewski of MASN.com. "I think that we should build around players like Adam Jones,'' VP of baseball operations Dan Duquette said. ''I'm looking forward to meeting him and I've enjoyed watching him play for a couple of years and hopefully we can watch him play here and be part of winning teams." Jones has recently surfaced as a popular name in trade talks that would bring a sizeable return for the Orioles if they were to put him on the market, but Duquette appears to view him as a long term player. A decision on his status with the team is not considered to be forthcoming.
