Jones went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run, a double, three RBI and two runs during Thursday's win over Texas.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran is having another solid campaign with a .267/.310/.446 slash line, 17 homers, 45 RBI and 50 runs. He's on pace to post a nearly identical numbers to last season's stat line, and Jones remains a key cog in the Baltimore lineup, so his fantasy floor is high.

Jones went 3-for-5 with a leadoff homer, a second RBI and three runs scored against the Rangers on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Once the O's cleanup hitter, he now bats leadoff, and Jones set the tone by opening the bottom of the first with a homer off Texas lefty Martin Perez -- the veteran's 16th bomb of the season. Fantasy owners who picked him up on draft day have gotten pretty much exactly what they bargained for, as Jones is on pace to nearly precisely match his numbers from 2016 in nearly every category. He's hitting .266/.309/.435 after posting a .265/.310/.436 batting line last season, and his homer, RBI and run paces are pretty much right in line as well.

Manager Buck Showalter said he likes the batting order with Jones leading off, but the skipper is unsure if he'll stick with that plan, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Showalter commented that the O's lineup will be a work in progress now that slugging first baseman Chris Davis is back from the DL. "It just fit us a lot better," the manager said. "We'll see how it goes. But he did well from that spot and it kind of works out." From the sound of it, Friday's order was not just a result of matching up with a lefty. Jones spent the majority of 2016 leading off, and slashed .282/.320/.471 with 24 home runs, 64 RBI and 68 runs from the top spot.

Jones is starting in centerfield and leading off for Friday's tilt with the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
With a southpaw on the mound for the Cubs, regular leadoff man Seth Smith will head to the bench, clearing way for Jones' first start in the No. 1 hole since last season. The 31-year-old has certainly earned the honor by recording 88 hits over 81 games this season, good for second on the team.

In 81 first-half games, Jones hit .267 with 15 home runs, 40 RBI and 42 runs in 330 at-bats.
EDGE Analysis
The center fielder's 19.3 percent strikeout rate is average, but it's worth noting Jones is whiffing at a higher clip than he has since 2014. He's no longer among the elite at his position in terms of fantasy production, but Jones continues to hold plenty of value in deeper formats. The veteran is on pace to challenge 30 homers while notching 75 RBI and runs by season's end.

Jones went 2-for-5 with a pair of home runs and five RBI in Sunday's 11-5 win at Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
Jones got the scoring started with a three-run shot off Kyle Gibson in the first inning, then took Gibson deep again for a solo shot in the fifth. An eighth-inning sacrifice fly completed Jones' productive outing. He had managed just two extra-base hits (both doubles) in the last 13 games, so this performance should do wonders for Jones' confidence heading into the All-Star break.

Jones went 1-for-5 with a solo homer Saturday against the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
Jones launched his 13th blast of the season in the third inning to extend the Orioles lead to three runs in a winning effort. Although his home run output has been solid, his overall slash line of .274/.312/.448 has been marginal for fantasy purposes.

Jones is not in the lineup Thursday against the Indians.
EDGE Analysis
Jones has started each of the last 13 games for the Orioles, so he'll get the day off as Craig Gentry takes over in center field. The 31-year-old has reached base safely in 10 straight games and is now slashing .269/.307/.437 in 65 games this season.

Jones went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and three runs scored during Saturday's win over St. Louis.
EDGE Analysis
While the 31-year-old outfielder is clearly past his prime, he's still a solid fantasy asset. Saturday's outing has Jones up to 12 homers, 31 RBI and 32 runs with a .265/.306/.431 slash line, and hitting in the heart of a dangerous lineup also helps Jones' fantasy floor.

Jones is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
This day off marks the first game that Jones has not started in since returning to the lineup from an ankle injury on May 31. The outfielder will get a day of rest before beginning a three-game set in Yankee Stadium over the weekend. In his place, Joey Rickard will man center while batting sixth.
