Jones (leg) is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
Jones was held out of the last two games in Pittsburgh to give his sore legs a break, and he will remain out Friday even with the Orioles resuming AL play and having the DH available. He should still be considered day-to-day, but with just two days to go, it remains to be seen if he will start again this season.

Jones (leg soreness) is out of Wednesday's lineup against the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran has been battling leg soreness down the stretch, and the Orioles have no reason to rush him back as they play out the string. Austin Hays will start in center field and lead off. The Orioles have an off day Thursday, so the soonest Jones could return would be this weekend in Tampa Bay.

Jones (legs) is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Pirates, Eduardo A. Encina of The Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
He has been battling leg soreness in recent weeks, which is by no means uncommon this time of year. It was bad enough to force him from Sunday's game, and Jones will miss at least one start as a result of the issue. Austin Hays will start in center field and lead off Tuesday while Chris Davis bats cleanup.

Jones exited Sunday's game early with general leg soreness.
EDGE Analysis
Jones has been bothered by sore legs in the past, and it appears that the ailment was bothersome enough Sunday to cause the veteran outfielder to exit the game. The Orioles are off on Monday, so we'd expect to see him back in action Tuesday against Pirates.

EDGE Analysis
The reason for Jones' early departure is unknown at this point in time, but more information should be available soon. Joey Rickard entered the game in his place. Prior to being pulled, Jones had gone 1-for-2 at the plate and scored a run while notching two RBI.

Jones (hand) is batting cleanup and starting in center field Wednesday against the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Jones was hit by a pitch on his hand in the ninth inning Tuesday, but X-rays came back negative and he won't have to miss any time due to the ailment. He'll face Chris Sale as he looks to build on his .297/.336/.498 second-half line (61 games).

X-rays on Jones' hand came back negative Tuesday, Jon Meoli of The Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jones was hit by a pitch on his hand during the ninth inning of Tuesday's game, but the veteran outfielder was able to shrug it off and remain in the contest. He underwent precautionary tests following the game which fortunately revealed no structural damage. Jones' hand may have some lingering soreness Wednesday, but it shouldn't cause him to miss any time.

Jones was held out of Sunday's lineup due to general soreness, Rich Dubroff of PressBoxonline.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Baltimore's recent series against the Blue Jays in Toronto was a bit tough on Jones, as he's been dealing with some residual soreness after playing on turf in the Rogers Centre. He played Saturday, so fantasy owners shouldn't worry about Jones dealing with a serious injury. Rather, it appears that the Orioles are simply being cautious with their center fielder.

Jones is out of the lineup Sunday against the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
After dealing with a minor leg injury, Jones returned to the lineup Saturday and went 0-for-3 at the dish. There's been no indication that his absence from the lineup Sunday is injury related. Austin Hays will start in center field and hit eighth while Jones heads to the bench.

Jones (legs) is back in the lineup Saturday against the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
Jones' legs were sore coming out of the Toronto series, having been bitten a bit by the infamous turf in the Rogers Centre, but it seems one day of rest was all he needed to get right. The 32-year-old has reverse platoon splits again this season, but he's been significantly better against southpaws than he was last year (.261/.320/.428 vs LHP this season, .218/.268/.313 last year). He will look to continue that trend against Jordan Montgomery.
