Adam Eaton was removed from Friday's game against the Indians due to a strained right hamstring.
He's considered day-to-day and isn't expected to require a trip to the disabled list. The speedy young outfielder just recently recovered from a strain of his left hamstring that forced him to miss several games last week.

Adam Eaton was removed from Friday's game against the Indians in the fourth inning with an apparent injury.
He may have tweaked something in his leg while attempting to beat out a double play ball in the top half of the fourth inning, then was replaced by Jordan Danks to start the bottom half of the inning. The team should have an update on his status shortly.

Adam Eaton went 3-for-5 with two runs scored in a win over the Rays on Sunday.
Eaton was 1-for-9 in his first two games since returning to the lineup, but he broke through with three singles Sunday. The two runs gives him 19 runs scored on the year, good for fourth-best in the AL. He appears to be past his hamstring injury and should return to the starting lineup for fantasy squads.

Adam Eaton (hamstring) went 1-for-5 with an RBI, two runs scored, and a stolen base in his return to action Friday against the Rays.
Eaton missed the previous five games with a mild strain of his left hamstring. He managed to beat out a potential double-play ball in the bottom of the ninth inning, which turned out to be a critical play in the team's game-winning rally, so the hamstring doesn't seem like a big deal.

Adam Eaton (hamstring) could return Friday.
Eaton is again out of the White Sox lineup on Thursday with a mild strain of his left hamstring, but he tried to talk manager Robin Ventura into starting him -- which is obviously a good sign. The dynamic 25-year-old outfielder is batting .282/.373/.394 with one home run and one stolen base in 18 games this season.

Adam Eaton will test out his strained left hamstring prior to Tuesday's game.
Eaton is confident that he won't need a trip to the disabled list, but more will be known after he tests things out Tuesday. "We are going to see how it feels and if it feels good, we'll give it a go tomorrow," Eaton said. "So, we are going to take today and rest completely. Not even throw spikes on unfortunately. Take a full day and tomorrow get out there on the field and test it and, like I said, hopefully be ready to go tomorrow. If not, then the day after. Hopefully, be truthful with it tomorrow and make sure we're ready to go."

Adam Eaton (hamstring) is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Tigers.
Jordan Danks is playing in center field and leading off in Eaton's absence. On Saturday, manager Robin Ventura said that Eaton will miss at least three games with a strained hamstring suffered on Friday and aggravated on Saturday. Don't expect Eaton to be back until Wednesday at the earliest.

White Sox manager Robin Ventura said Saturday that Adam Eaton (hamstring) will sit out at least three games.
Eaton injured both his hamstring and ankle on Friday and then aggravated the hamstring ailment Saturday. The White Sox are calling it a mild strain, but they want to be safe and hold the outfielder out for at least a few days. "It's really right behind his knee," Ventura said. "Probably a few days just to monitor and see. It should be back in time. He just couldn't get out of the box. When he's pushing to get out of the box is when he really feels it. He can run and probably run better than most. It's just safer not to run him out there and maybe do something worse."
