It was clear something was up with the lefty, but now it appears that the problem is health-related. The team didn't name a specific ailment, but look for them to update with an official announcement Sunday. The team will also need to recall an arm to replace Conley in the rotation.

Conley was shelled for six runs on seven hits and four walks across five innings Sunday versus the Rockies. He struck out two and was credited with the win as his offense hung 10 runs on the board.

It wasn't pretty from Conley, who tied his season-high in runs allowed, but he was able to give his club five innings despite a very tough matchup at Coors Field and improved to 8-6 as a result. The left-hander has delivered substandard performances in each of his last two outings, but he had posted a 1.82 ERA over his previous five starts, and will look to get back on track Saturday versus the White Sox.

Wednesday marked just the fifth time in 21 starts this season in which Conley worked more than six innings. The sophomore left-hander has been throwing well since mid-June, allowing no more than two earned runs in seven of his last eight starts, going 4-1 during that stretch.
