Conley (finger) has been cleared to resume throwing, Clark Spencer of the Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Conley was shut down for a couple weeks due to swelling in his hand, but it appears the inflammation has dissipated, and he will able to toss a baseball again. It will likely still be several weeks before he is ready to return to game action, but he has not been ruled out from returning to the Marlins' rotation this season.

Conley (finger) has been shut down after a recent doctor visit and is now expected to need more than the minimum 15 days on the disabled list, MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Initial expectations were that Conley's stay on the DL would be a short one, but he's been unable to throw while experiencing swelling and inflammation in his injured hand. The 26-year-old lefty has posted a respectable 3.94 ERA and 122:61 K:BB ratio over 130.1 innings pitched in 24 starts for the Marlins this season.

Conley (finger), who was placed on the DL on Sunday, is expected to return in the minimum 15 days, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Conley was diagnosed with tendinitis in the middle finger of his throwing hand after he turned in his third poor start in a row Saturday against the White Sox, during which he was blasted for five runs on five hits and four walks across four frames. The Marlins are hopeful that some rest will remedy the issue, but with the team fighting for a playoff berth, the loss of one of their top starters for any period of time is a big blow. The Marlins haven't announced who will replace Conley in the rotation, but Jose Urena is considered a leading candidate.

Updating a previous report, Conley will land on the disabled list due to "left third finger tendonitis."
EDGE Analysis
Conley's placement on the DL finally has an explanation, albeit a somewhat strange one. Fortunately for the Marlins, this doesn't appear to be a long-term concern, and they should expect to have the left-hander back in the rotation by late-August/early-September. The hope is that skipping a few turns in the rotation will alleviate the issue altogether, and allow Conley to return to his July form.

Conley (hand) will be placed on the 15-day DL, MLB.com's Joe Frisaro reports.
EDGE Analysis
Conley didn't give up more than two earned runs during a single July start, but over his last two outings, as surrendered a combined 11 earned runs. It was clear something was up with the lefty, but now it appears that the problem is health-related. The team didn't name a specific ailment, but look for them to update with an official announcement Sunday. The team will also need to recall an arm to replace Conley in the rotation.

Conley was shelled for six runs on seven hits and four walks across five innings Sunday versus the Rockies. He struck out two and was credited with the win as his offense hung 10 runs on the board.
EDGE Analysis
It wasn't pretty from Conley, who tied his season-high in runs allowed, but he was able to give his club five innings despite a very tough matchup at Coors Field and improved to 8-6 as a result. The left-hander has delivered substandard performances in each of his last two outings, but he had posted a 1.82 ERA over his previous five starts, and will look to get back on track Saturday versus the White Sox.

Conley (7-6) allowed two runs on five hits and six walks with four strikeouts over four innings in a loss Monday to the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
Conley just couldn't find his control Monday, which is something he has struggled with on and off all season -- this marks his fifth start with at least four walks. His ability to get whiffs has driven his 3.41 ERA, and he drew eight swinging strikes to prevent the floodgates from opening. But he needed 97 pitches to get through four innings, as his wildness was just too much to overcome.

Conley (7-5) tossed 6.2 scoreless innings, allowing eight hits and three walks while striking out six Phillies in Wednesday's win.
EDGE Analysis
Wednesday marked just the fifth time in 21 starts this season in which Conley worked more than six innings. The sophomore left-hander has been throwing well since mid-June, allowing no more than two earned runs in seven of his last eight starts, going 4-1 during that stretch. Conley will look to keep things rolling in Chicago for his next start on Monday.

Conley (6-5) allowed two runs on six hits and one walk while striking out three over six innings, but received no decision Friday against the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
Conley allowed single runs in the first and fourth innings before the offense picked him up by scoring a pair of runs in the sixth inning to take him off the hook for a potential loss. He's now held opponents to two or fewer earned runs in six of his last seven starts to lower his ERA to 3.58. He'll make his next start Wednesday against the Phillies.

Conley allowed three runs, two of which were earned, on three hits and three walks while striking out nine over 5.1 innings, but received no decision Sunday at the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Conley had a 3-1 lead going into the fifth inning, but he let the lead slip away before his exit from the contest. He's now held opponents to two or fewer earned runs in five of his last six starts to lower his ERA to 3.61. He'll make his next start Friday against the Mets.
