Conley (5-5) allowed three runs on six hits and three walks during Monday's win over San Francisco. He didn't record a strikeout.
EDGE Analysis
The Nationals got to Conley for five runs on 11 hits and three walks through just five innings in his previous start, so this was a nice rebound. He has now allowed three runs or fewer in five of six starts since returning from the minors, so his fantasy arrow is pointing up for the stretch drive. However, it's probably wise to keep expectations in check considering his underwhelming 6.0 K/9 and game-to-game inconsistency throughout his young career. Conley lines up to face the Mets at Citi Field in his next start.

Conley (4-5) was roughed up for five runs on 11 hits and three walks over five innings in Wednesday's 10-1 loss to the Nationals. He struck out four.
EDGE Analysis
After giving the Marlins three straight quality starts after the All-Star break, Conley has taken a big step backwards, allowing nine runs (eight earned) in his last 10.1 innings. The lefty will take a 5.43 ERA into his next outing Monday at home against the Giants.

Conley (4-4) allowed four runs (three earned) on five hits and a walk over 5.1 innings in Friday's 5-3 loss to the Braves. He struck out two.
EDGE Analysis
Backed by a couple of Giancarlo Stanton bombs, Conley seemed on his way to his third straight win until he stumbled in the sixth innings, serving up a three-run shot to Nick Markakis. The 27-year-old lefty still has a 2.42 ERA and 1.15 WHIP in four starts since rejoining the Marlins rotation in July, but he'll face a tough test in his next outing Wednesday on the road against the Nationals.

Conley (4-3) allowed two runs on five hits and two walks while striking out seven batters through 7.2 innings during Saturday's win over Cincinnati.
EDGE Analysis
Through three starts since being recalled from the minors, Conley has allowed just four runs and struck out 15 batters over 20.2 innings. The lefty has everything it takes to be a go-to fantasy asset, and while it's probably to early to bank on him as a universal option, he's worth a look for clubs in need of pitching help. Conley lines up to face the Braves at SunTrust Park in his next start.

Conley (3-3) pitched seven scoreless innings with five strikeouts during Monday's win over Texas.
EDGE Analysis
This was easily the best outing of the year for Conley. However, with a 5.62 ERA, 1.49 WHIP and 6.7 K/9 for the campaign, the 27-year-old lefty still doesn't offer a lot of fantasy appeal moving forward. At best, he's a hurler to watch and potential utilize in favorable matchups. Conley projects to face Cincinnati at home in his next start.

Conley allowed two runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out three over six innings Tuesday but didn't factor into the decision in a 5-2 loss to the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
The left-hander made a successful return to the Marlins' rotation after being demoted in early May, throwing 62 of 92 pitches for strikes and exiting the game with the score knotted at 2-2. Conley's spot in the rotation could depend on the health of Edinson Volquez's knee, but given how desperate the team is for pitching help this outing may have been good enough to keep Conley around even if Volquez is able to return to action quickly.

The Marlins recalled Conley from Triple-A New Orleans in advance of his scheduled start Tuesday against the Phillies, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Conley, who started 36 games with the big club over the past two seasons, will be making his first appearance with the Marlins since May 8 after a string of poor outings resulted in him losing out on his rotation spot. With a 5.49 ERA and 1.51 WHIP over 62.1 innings at Triple-A, Conley was never really able to right the ship in the minors, but the Marlins' mounting injury list coupled with a lack of capable alternatives on the 40-man roster made the lefty the top candidate for the Tuesday spot start. If Edinson Volquez (knee) is cleared to return from the disabled list next week when a fifth starter is required again, Conley could be headed back to the minors in short order.

Conley will get the start Tuesday against the Phillies, Craig Davis of the Sun Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Conley will make his first start at the big-league level since May 8, when he was blown up for seven runs in just 3.2 innings against the Cardinals. The 27-year-old has not been able to repeat his 2016 form, with a giant spike in walk rate likely the culprit, jumping from 3.6 BB/9 to 5.0 this season. He will get another opportunity with Miami on Tuesday, but could head back down to Triple-A New Orleans following the game if Edison Volquez (knee) is able to return for his next start.

Conley had a 6.10 ERA, 1.56 WHIP and 31:23 K:BB in 51.2 innings over 10 starts since being demoted to Triple-A New Orleans.
EDGE Analysis
The control issues that caused the 27-year-old lefty to be sent down in May haven't gotten any better in the minors. The Marlins are in desperate need of help in their rotation following the decision to designate Jeff Locke for assignment after his latest implosion, but it doesn't look like Conley will be part of the solution any time soon.

Conley was optioned to Triple-A New Orleans on Tuesday, Joe Capozzi of The Palm Beach Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Coming off two strong seasons in the rotation, Conley has largely been a disappointment, sporting a 7.53 ERA and a 1.57 WHIP in six starts and a relief appearance. The Marlins seem to be intent on getting him more work as a starter, and given his past success, they're likely hoping that a quick trip to the minors could turn things around for the young southpaw. Until he returns, Thomas Tells and Tyler Moore will come up to fill out the roster. Jose Urena seems like a candidate to pick up starts in his stead.
