Conley (2-2) allowed four runs on seven hits and two walks with four strikeouts in four innings Tuesday in a loss to the Brewers.
EDGE Analysis
Conley wasn't hit terribly hard -- he gave up five singles and two doubles out of his seven hits -- but the Brewers ran wild off him, stealing four bases in four attempts. Conley also threw a wild pitch that resulted in a run, and it was that sloppiness that led to his early exit and subsequent loss. Conley had yet to allow a stolen base this season, so we'll have to see if this was just solid baserunning for the Brewers or if other teams will copy their approach. Despite the rough outing, Conley owns a 3.72 ERA with 38 strikeouts in 36.1 innings on the season.

Conley (2-1) struck out six Arizona hitters over 5.1 shutout innings Thursday, allowing just two hits and a walk in a 4-0 win.
EDGE Analysis
Fantasy owners who haven't been paying Conley much mind should start doing so -- guys who average a strikeout per inning while playing in pitcher-friendly parks don't just come around every day. His inconsistency and relative lack of a track record work against him, but even though Conley's not a star, he'll slot nicely into fantasy rotations in a wide variety of formats.

Conley tossed 7.2 no-hit innings against the Brewers on Friday to earn his first victory of the season.
EDGE Analysis
He struck out seven with four walks during his best outing as a pro, but was yanked from the game after racking up a career high 116 pitches. The Marlins' bullpen lost the no-no and the shutout in the ninth, but managed to hold on for the victory. Conley has flashed top-of-the-rotation upside in the early going this year and is sitting with a solid 3.67 and 1.22 WHIP with 28 strikeouts in 27 innings pitched this season. He'll head back out to the hill seeking his second victory Thursday at home against Arizona.

Conley allowed four runs on seven hits and four walks while striking out two over 5.2 innings, but received no decision Sunday at the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Conley had a two-run lead before giving up a pair of runs in the sixth inning, taking away his chance for a victory. In four outings, he's only been able to put together a single quality start, and he owns a 5.12 ERA along with a 1.50 WHIP. He'll make his next start Friday at the Brewers.

Conley (0-1) allowed four runs on eight hits and a walk over 6.2 innings Tuesday in a loss to the Nationals. He struck out eight.
EDGE Analysis
Conley was brilliant early on, as he shut out the Nationals through the first six innings, but it all fell apart in the seventh, as he allowed a pair of solo home runs to Jayson Werth and Wilson Ramos and left two runners on base for the Miami bullpen, which promptly let the Nationals blow the game open on a Bryce Harper home run. There was a lot to like from Conley, who induced 14 swinging strikes and threw 64 strikes in his 95 pitches before he was lifted. He has 19 strikeouts in 13.2 innings this season and was working on 12 straight shutout innings dating back to his last start against the Mets before the Nationals got him in the seventh inning.

Conley pitched six scoreless innings, allowing four hits and one walk while striking out nine. Despite the impressive outing, the lefty did not factor in the decision Wednesday against the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
The left-hander earned a rotation spot in spring training, and Wednesday was a good example of why he got the job. Conley is a solid source of strike outs (7.9 K/9 in 2015), but otherwise still has a lot to prove before he should be consistently counted on. The NL East is offensively inept, averaging less than four runs per game in 2015, and since most of his starts will come against teams from within the division, Conley is certainly worth a roster spot in most formats.

Conley is tentatively scheduled to make his next start Wednesday, the Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Conley got just one inning in his first start Thursday before a lengthy rain delay. His next start was up in the air because of Wei-Yin Chen's elbow, but it appears now that the Marlins have settled on Conley on Wednesday, with Chen going on Friday.

Conley only went one inning against the Nationals on Thursday, as he did not return to the mound after an hour and 23 minute rain delay.
EDGE Analysis
Tanner Roark continued on for Washington after the delay, but Conley was replaced on the hill by David Phelps in the bottom of the second inning. Conley struggled in the first, giving up three runs on two hits and two walks while striking out two batters. He lines up to face the Mets in New York next week, although it's possible the team could move him up after Thursday's 31-pitch outing.

Conley has secured a spot in the Marlins rotation and will pitch the third game of the season against the Nationals, Joe Frisaro of mlb.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Conley has been gaining momentum throughout Grapefruit League play, posting a 1.86 ERA and showing increased velocity over 9.2 innings pitched. He also dominated his way through two innings with six strikeouts in his latest spring start that was eventually rained out. The 25-year-old lefty showed well in 11 starts for the Marlins last season with an additional four relief appearances, piling up a 3.76 ERA and 1.28 WHIP over 67 innings. and will now get a chance to take a step forward in his first full season in the majors.

Conley struck out all six batters he faced before Saturday's game against the Tigers was called due to rain. "He's just a guy right now who looks like he knows what he wants to do on every pitch, and pitching confidently," manager Don Mattingly told MLB.com. "That's a big thing. Just the way he's gone about his business."
EDGE Analysis
The lefty threw 22 of 29 pitches for strikes, topping out at 96 mph with his fastball and getting batters to swing through the slider and changeup. Anthony Gose, J.D. Martinez, Nick Castellanos, Jarrod Saltalamacchia, and James McCann all went down swinging. He was off to a strong start this spring to begin with, but after Saturday's dominant outing, and the glowing post-game comments from Mattingly, Conley now appears to be on the verge of securing a spot in the Marlins' starting rotation.
